Came here late on a Friday and had an amazing time with my husband and grandma! It was her first time at hot pot, and she was delighted by the incredible, clearly house made wontons! We’re from Houston, and the hot pot spots I’ve been to have been bigger more “trendy” places, so this was the most family run experience I’ve had for hot pot. It was AMAZING cuz when you’re a dork like me workin’ in restaurants and poppin’ in Asian markets all the time, you recognize frozen products etc, and there was NONE of that here! Folks are clearly bustin’ tail in the back!We got the house broth which was flavorful and heartwarming. I liked the variety of options, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming with happy conversation instead of loud music. The lamb was exquisite, and the house made noodles are a must. We had a wonderful time, so I’m definitely going to come back whenever we’re in town. This Texan needs to try the spicy broth!!! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Broth was nice, but a very small selection of veggies which are also insanely expensive. A small bowl of uncooked white mushrooms for $7?? I’ve had better and cheaper hotpot in San Francisco than here. Plus no dipping sauces. Such a cheap and easy way to improve hotpot

EXACTLY What We Hoped For!
We drove from two states over just to try this place, hearing that it was authentic Chinese Hot Pot, and after reading reviews. It did NOT disappoint! The place, though somewhat small and doing a fair bit of business, was a nice atmosphere, very clean. We enjoyed the look and feel. Although there is no sauce bar, we ordered every dipping sauce to try. All the sauces were very good, although the leek flower sauce won as our favourite and was refilled by our kind wait staff several times. The service was excellent! We never went without kind service- asking if we needed anything, constantly refilling our broth whenever low, and tending to our needs in a friendly and courteous manner. We really appreciated the service. EVERYTHING was delicious food-wise; all super fresh. We would recommend the regular beef if you enjoy meat and the mocha ice cream for dessert. As discriminating foodies, we were very impressed by the flavor of the broths (we had the two broths), as they were so perfectly spiced and wonderful all on their own as a soup! We ordered the handmade noodles and did not need a double order. The portions are NOT small, unlike one review I read- nowhere near small. (We went March 24th, 2018, and I am STILL enjoying the leftovers!) Thank you so much to Garden Hot Pot. We are already planning to come back. You are a jewel we fell in love with and are so grateful to have found you!

The appetizers were in the decent to good range. The soup that you create as Ala carte type options was really bland, especially the meats. The veggies were decent. Quantity is good but it’s over priced for the quality of food.

The food is delicious after you blow on it. Be careful when enjoying your hot pot experience because believe it or not it’s hot! We ordered everything under the sun and all of it is delicious. I recommend pork belly, mild broth, and chefs special chili sauce.

Always a super fun experience. I love to do an adult only date, friends or family, and even the kids love it. It’s fun to personalize your hot pot with what you want and to try new things or combinations. The fresh noodles are AMAZING!

This restaurant is worth checking out. Normally there is nothing special about soup until you try this place. The fact you can cook your ingredients in the restaurant’s delicious broth ( spicy or regular) is pretty cool. You know you are getting the fresh ingrediates in your soup and it’s being made in front of you. They have many ingredients you can choose from but the ones we went with were homemade noodles, chicken, beef, shrimp, and dumplings. They have vegetable options but we were here for the meats today. Service was fantastic, we always had water and enough broth for our ingrediates. The portions were plentiful enough for someone to get full and have left overs. The steam buns we had here were also very delicious, best I have tasted here in Tri-cities.

OMG! Why have I never sought out hot pot before? It was fantastic. We got the mild and spicy broths; the spicy was quite spicy. We ordered spinach, beef, lamb, wontons, frozen tofu, and soba noodles. Thank you, Fung Bros, for teaching me how to eat it via YouTube, before we went. The three dipping sauces were amazing – so much umami. There were three of us and there were leftovers; it was just so much food.
