What a great Nebraska Hometown experience. From the old fashioned booths and stools to the chrome decor, you can expect a welcome old fashioned casual dining experience. (Don’t expect gluten free or vegetarian options here except side orders or grilled cheese sandwich.) The service was friendly and fast with a check in but not intrusive. I had a deliciious juicy medium well done mushroom burger and once fried french fries and my mother had grilled cheese cooked golden brown and perfectly crunchy on the outside and melt in your mouth goodness on the inside!

Small town diner feel and vibe. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was good and very fast, but well made. Cozy little breakfast/lunch spot for when you’re looking to relax. They are cash or local check ONLY, so be prepared (they do have an ATM on site).

Wow. So disappointed! The other reviews led me to believe this would be a mom and pop dining experience. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, rubbery eggs, gravy from a mix or can, and portion sizes that didn’t correspond to the menu. The kids menu lists a “BIG” pancake in all caps but what came out was less than 5” across. The biggest issue was how dirty the place was. Tables sticky and covered with film, needed to be scrubbed. The floor was next level filthy, black sludge everywhere (see pic). If this is the cleanliness of the publicly viewable areas, who knows what the kitchen looks like? The waitress was nice but never got a coffee refill. We won’t be back.

Great mom and pop old school Cafe, cash only and only had breakfast. I will order the cfb breakfast burrito. Always friendly employees. And its awesome to see highschoolers who want to work. Will try again for lunch soon
