Do yourself a favor and don’t ever get your sweets at a super market. This place beats it 10/10, both on flavor and cost. Local vibes mixed with an authentic style of baking you won’t find nearby Top notch corn muffins

I did go later in the day, so not sure if that’s why, but there wasn’t as big of a variety of donuts as I was expecting. The glazed donut was the standout, very soft like a pillow. The others were good, but of what I tried, I will say the fudge fancy was a letdown.

Sad to say the quality has gone way down. It was never top notch but at least the donuts and pastries were eatable. We basically tossed everything away, donuts were fried in old grease and they kept a layer of it visible on the interior. The cider donuts were full of a flavor that did not make me think of apple cider.Even the hard rolls were tossed away.

My daughter is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. She is nearly 12 and had never had a proper doughnut before coming to Schuyler Bakery. To be able to walk into a place where she could safely eat anything is an amazing feeling. We bought a dozen doughnuts and a pound of mini cookies and got out of there for $25. Service was great, price was unbeatable and the fact that my daughter can eat anything in the store is the absolute best.

This is the BEST bakery in the capital district. Their cinnamon loaf is absolutely the most delish way to make French toast! It’s perfectly encrusted in sugar which carmelizes around the toast, and the flavor of the dough adds a lot that you don’t get with a brioche.

Delicious bakery that I discovered when searching for a nut free bakery! Came all the way from Boston to try it. So many options to choose from – but I had to try the danish, apple fritter, buttercream cookie sandwich, and the Italian cookies. All have been SO delicious!! Everything was overwhelmingly affordable too. If I had gotten all of that while in Boston it’d be well over $30, but here everything was less than $20! Can’t wait for my next time there.
