Wow!! Just wow! My wife and I had originally thought we’d like to try out the Italian place across the parking lot from this but the portion sizes did NOT look worth their prices. I’m so glad we came here instead!
Pueblo Viejo is special! I don’t often say this about restaurants, but this place was more than just a great meal, it was a great experience!! The server was VERY quick with our drinks and with our food after we ordered.
I got the Pechuga Loca and the chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly! That $2 extra for the chorizo with it was worth it! Sooooo good! And the portion for the price was great! My wife had the Carne Asada and the small sample I had of hers was also fantastic (we always sample each others dishes when we have a date night)! What really made this more than just a great meal was the perfect level of attentiveness of the staff (not too much) not too little, the bottomless complimentary chips and salsa, good atmosphere and very family friendly vibe of the place, and when we accidentally spilled on of our water cups making a big mess, the waiter was very patient and prompt helping clean it up. And let me just say again the food was delicious! Stellar even! I’m glad I couldn’t finish mine because tomorrow’s lunch is going to be AWESOME! This is definitely on our favorites list now.

Had read some reviews in Google about Pueblo Viejo and wanted to try it. The dining area is very fresh and clean looking with a simple aesthetic. We did not wait to get a table however the restaurant became very busy as we dined. This is a popular place and with good reason- it is very good and a very solid choice when seeking a nice Mexican meal in Goodlettsville. A large group of Goodlettsville Firemen literally drove their hook and ladder up beside the building to dine! I should note my wife loved her Margarita! We thoroughly enjoyed our food, service, and the value was excellent. Highly recommended when you crave Mexican.

Decided on Mexican for dinner tonight on the way back home to Michigan. After reading reviews we chose this place. I had the chalupas ( I should have ordered 1 instead of 2. They were huge!!) and my husband had 2 different tacos, al pastor and carnitas. We both kept raving to each other how delicious the food was. Unlimited complimentary warm chips, salsa and a Margarita while waiting for our food was appreciated. Our waiter was efficient, friendly and very attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves after a long day on the road.

We walked in and were seated right away. Ordered our food and it came out within 10 minutes. I loved the salsa! Not all Mexican restaurants have delicious salsa but this place does. The food was so good. 4.5 stars as I was unsure if I could eat the beans. I did not get a clear answer on whether or not they had lard.

Excellent tacos authenticos. Really like their hotter salsa (by request only) – has great flavor. Pretty much every thing I’ve had here is pretty decent. Service is attentive and timely. Good is brought out extra hot, of which I really appreciate. Plenty of indoor seating – no outdoor.

Nice little hole in the wall find… Service was absolutely great, she was right on point with all good and drinks… Chips were warm and fresh, salsa was good, the green salsa and the house hot salsa were really good!! Chicken nachos you just can’t beat for $8.50 with the quality of shredded chicken, onions & peppers mixed in with a light but good seasoning… Fajitas also were done right… Good sized portions and pricing very fair…. Top shelf margarita wasn’t too strong or that weak so right in the middle and it was good

Don’t order the molcajete here. They’re trying to pass off fajitas as molcajete. When I brought it back because they put onions in it when I asked for no onions, even the waiter said “you got the fajitas right?”. Absolutely shameful. Don’t charge me for molcajete if it’s just fajitas with a jalapeno pepper thrown into it.

Just discovered this place last week and I’ve eaten there three times since then. The alambre and the chicken fajitas have been consistently delicious and well seasoned. Good salsa. Nice, friendly staff. Lunch portions are huge.

Our servers were friendly and the food was fresh. They were generous with the cheese dip and the restaurant was clean. Very similar to other local Mexican restaurants, extra easy access for Goodlettsville residents. I’m glad they are here.
