This place is none for the Oysters unfortunately my hubby doesn’t eat them in I only occasionally 3-4. We came for our anniversary the calamari was delicious, the smash burger hubby ordered and I took a piece was the best. The spicy shrimp sandwich was small and where’s the spice? The gave us champagne and ice cream thx so much. The dip was delicious just crab dip” “But Soupy and needed more Crab meat. Loved the chips with the old Bay delicious and light. The fries to pliable needed some crunch but tasty.

Been here several times and glad they are in Bethesda, MD. Main focus of this restaurant is seafood but they do have some non-seafood dishes. If you want to splurge, I do like their seafood towers. It is pricey, but I think so worth it. You get so much seafood. It includes lobster tails, crab claws, lobster and crab meats, tuna, mussels, clams and oysters. Other standouts are the coddies, crab dip, branzino and lobster rolls.

I like their cocktail menu and enjoyed the Stirred 8 and their G&T. They do have happy hour specials as well.

Stopped in here for a quick drink and oysters. Place is designed with 20s-fashion marble and old subway style tile, relaxed lighting and super cozy atmosphere. Bartender Ahmad was friendly and jovial. So nice! Oysters are fresh and you choose your level of salinity/brininess. Highly recommend!

Another great Bethesda find. Fresher than fresh oysters and bartenders that make whiskey shine. You should try a range of different oysters to see what you like and then go back and get more of your favorite. Also recommend the house cocktail the Stirred 8. A perfectly balanced blend by master mixologist Ahmad.
There was a little fishy smell by the bar but that could just be related to air movement and weather.

Looking for a place to wind down after shopping, this is it! New England and Chesapeake dishes with a fabulous selection of raw oysters. Great drinks and service is second to none. Highly recommend! We had some oysters and was amazed by the clam chowder as well.

Very good food. 1/2 price oysters during happy hour. Our waitress was awesome. I forgot her name. She’s a pretty African American who does a great job. Steak salad was awesome. Highly recommend.

Soooo disappointing. I know it’s always a bit hit or miss anywhere when ordering delivery, but I was working, so had to have it delivered. This was $24!!! I also ordered the steak rare and it came medium well at best 🙁 The portion was also more like a side rather than an entree. This is what it looked like untouched other than removing the lid. It was literally like 5 or 6 leaves. It randomly came with two containers of tartar sauce and ketchup, not sure why though. The 2 stars is only cuz the lady I spoke to was really nice. But this salad was way overpriced and super disappointing.

Over several visits, I have noticed it consistently delivers. Either it was a quick satisfying lunch and a relaxed and enjoyable setting for longer gatherings. The food is delicious, and the presentation is nice. The staff is super professional and incredibly friendly and welcoming.
This restaurant is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

First of let me start by saying this was my very first time at the Salt Line Restaurant. I would like to thank the 4 individual staff members by the name Bryan (restaurant manager) Ben & Madyra (hostess), Brian (Bartender) doing an excellent job in combining us last minute on a busy Valentine’s Day evening my swordfish entree was absolutely delicious!! I recommend this place on the hospitality itself, but rest assure their food choice selection looks very delicious as well and believe that all of them are just about worth a try.
