Good drinks, bad energy. Brewster’s has lost its easygoing soul. Used to be one of my favorite laid-back spots — the vibe’s a total buzzkill now, thanks to one staff member who seems determined to a bring hostility to the table every time.
Stopped in with friends for a simple afternoon drink. Literally canned beverages. Asked if they had something “like White Claw,” got offered only Truly — even though a big poster advertising what I wanted was right behind me. When I asked to swap not a minute later, the bartender came over to our table, essentially forced me to keep the Truly and snapped that somebody had to pay for this (now open canned beverage), as she stormed away with attitude.
It’s wild how one consistently rude, confrontational employee can drag down an entire place but she makes it happen! Save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere.

Best burgers in the Bangor area hands down. Prices are amazing and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. Drinks are strong and service is spot on. there is no where else you get a 12oz choice ribeye for $15.75 with sides. This place is incredible. Staff is great.

My mistake has not reading the small print to see the word bar, and boy was it! Loud and extremely rude language. We waited over 20 minutes for our simple lunch. Also advertised fine food! No.

First time eating here last night! Busy but fun. Beautiful deck to sit out on outside since the dinning room was full. Great place to soak in the locals and escape. Food was amazing (build your own burger) service was good even with the busyness and the waitress was sweet and kind with a smile. Definitely coming back again!!

I know Maine is supposed to be the place for seafood. And it is! Just, I don’t eat much seafood myself. While visiting Bangor for business I looked for some place local, non-chain. I discovered this little place above the Brewer Motor Inn. First thought the name meant it would be a local brew pub. Instead it is just a friendly little restaurant with great food and even better service. Everything my friend and I had was delicious. Well, almost everything. Neither of us cared for the the french fries as they were overdone.
Chili was great, be aware a bowl of chili is a full-size bowl. The boneless buffalo wings were tender and tasty. I had their chicken cordon bleu sandwich, and was very pleased. I spent about $20 on food and came away full. If you’re looking for local and delicious, go to Brewster’s!

The food was really good. We got a club sandwich and a breakfast platter. Both were delicious. Had a few drinks, which were very strong (not complaining). The place is very loud, but friendly. It also has a home-town feel, but the service can be slow because of how busy they are. The seating options are limited… only a few tables and then the bar. Once the warmer weather hits, there is more seating outside.
