This is the BEST coffee on Virginia Beach! It was only about 5 minute walk from our hotel. The ladies were super friendly and helpful. You are welcome with a friendly greeting and a smile. This place is my jam and will be your too.

Needed an iced latte before our long drive home after a wedding and saw this was the highest rated option open on a Sunday, that also had yummy looking lattes I’m very particular about my iced lattes, so a roastery seemed like a great place to try.
I asked what non-dairy options they had for milks, and the barista said they have oat and almond. I asked what brand of oat since there is a particular brand that I really don’t like (iykyn) and the barista immediately knew they use minor figures. I said yay! I love that brand. and she said “I get it ”. Love a team of baristas who understand.
I got an iced cinnamon dolce latte, half sweet, with oat milk. My boyfriend got an iced mocha with whole milk. He absolutely loved the mocha and said it’s the best has had in a long time/maybe ever. I also loved my iced latte! Perfectly milky, not too sweet, great smooth espresso. Perfection! I basically chugged mine along with a vanilla espresso granola bar.
We also thought they had a mango matcha lemonade, but it was actually a mango matcha latte. They were kind about clarifying and we ended up getting one anyways for the road. Very smooth and perfect green color.
Ambience is laid back and chill. A few tables to do work or chat – saw some folks having a little informational interview, others on laptops, and others having a slow Sunday. Pop music in the background was a little much but fine.
Tons of cute merch, tea, coffee accessories for yourself or would make great gifts!
Would definitely recommend for a top notch coffee during your travels!

The coffee and pastries are absolutely delicious! It’s wonderful that they offer vegan pastries and snacks, which is a huge plus for me with my dietary needs. And the service is even better—Kayla went out of her way to get a pastry I hadn’t seen the day before, and when I came in today, she had already put some croissants aside for me. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful, and I’m definitely planning to visit Daybreak more often. I highly recommend this cafe!

This coffee shop opened in 1989 and they roast the coffee beans they acquire, in small batches. They have two entrances, one on the side and one in the front. We walked through the front and it was surprisingly a long hallway. There were tables up front which was quiet. You can see the coffee roaster displayed there. The counter is in the back; there were a ton of employees working and they were all so friendly, smiley, and welcoming. There were plenty of seating as well. We found free parking easily on street. The place was nicely decorated and clean. I ordered an iced latte and it was great; the prices were comparable to other coffee shops. They also had cookies which my toddler enjoyed. Overall, a great coffee shop!

This was only my second time visiting so I was taken back by how busy it was but that was a good sign to me! The staff were pleasant and my cappuccino was very good. I wish I lived closer so I could try some of the other drinks but I will definitely be back!

Daybreak is one of my favorite spots in town. The food is always good, the coffee is consistently the best, and the atmosphere is clean, calm, and perfect for relaxing or getting work done. Their customer service is phenomenal, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel welcome.

We have been coming to Daybreak Coffee Roasters for years. Ruth the owner and staff are very professional and friendly. The beans are fresh and roasted daily in house by their master roaster! The aroma is amazing! The taste is delicious!

Cute place with nice ambience. Very friendly service, I asked for my lavender latte to be less sweet and they made it perfectly.
Espresso is very smooth. I also enjoyed the raspberry iced tea which comes unsweetened but they can add agave or simple syrup. Also get to see beans being roasted and there’s chocolates for sale
