Stopped in because of the good reviews and loved the food! Went with my husband and two year old. Food was great, loved the horchata! The lady who served us was not very friendly and seemed to be in a bad mood the whole time so it was a little uncomfortable, but glad we stopped by. Nice portion sizes for a nice price.

We randomly ended up at this place one night to satisfy our ” barbacoa’s” craving. At first, it felt a bit odd eating inside a supermarket but oh boy, the food tasted amazing. This felt really like a mother’s food at home and the portions were really big. Great food, nice service and really good prices. If you are in town and craving Mexican food, make sure to stop by.

Dirty restroom bad smell and I think if there is dirty restrooms ther must be dirty kitchen. The waitress didn’t give a receipt and for to breakfast and 2 coffee they were charging 60plus dollars. I said hold up. How much is this on the menu she said oops I made a mistake sorry. Very disappointed plus food was very little for the price. Hopefully it gets better because it used to be good back then

One of my favorite places in Galveston. On one side you got a restaurant with a great atmosphere and on the other you’ve got a small market with my favorite items. One of the only places that have a small kolashampan. They’re burrito mercadito and hamburguesa are the best. Highly recommend trying it out.

Wow I had the amazing potato n eggs bean,cheese, burrito.very delicious I miss this place,i just visit everyday for lunch or dinner to get a fry mojara it was always great. I moved out the island over 5 years. I stop ✋️ by today and I pick up breakfast burritos the best and amazing cook and it was very welcoming by the chef . The food was just perfect not to salty. Super cute place, lively music. Our server was Loli for a table of 9. She was very attentive and great personality. Food came out promptly, everything was delicious.
What’s cool here is that it is also a grocery store, a good variety of items plus household products, charcoal and blankets for cold weather. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

It looks like a grocery store from the outside but as soon as you walk in you step into the dining room of a restaurant that just so happens to have groceries. Most of them are dry goods but hey, they have cinnamon so big and fragrant, tamarindo pods as big as your hand, and all the dried hibiscus you’ll need. This is also known as flor de Jamaica which translates to “flower of Jamaica”. Just so you know. I don’t get my flower here I come here for the food. This day I had the pork chop special. Dang, that’s a lot of food for not so much money. The menu has a lot to offer and everything has been great. There are a lot of places that have a better atmosphere and maybe better this and that but the food was good and the beer was cold, and it was cheap. So if your looking for Mexican food this place is on Broadway and a safe bet. You’ll see locals here, including me and that tells you something.

I ordered the fried fish and it’s AMAZING. The fish was crispy and seasoned well. Fries, rice, Pico and tortilla were on point. Will eat here again next time I’m in Galveston.
