The husband loves Pancheros I wish there was Chipotle in Fort Dodge. Just gives me an excuse to go to Ames, IA. The food line its a mess. People have food allergies and the workers they really don’t care. Its messy and just ridiculous. Said something to the manager. Sweeping the food off the counter back into container. I was glad my food was made already. But how many times have they done that thru out the day. You can tell because of different items cross contaminating particles in the sour cream and corn that shouldn’t be there just disgusting. Yes she said something and removed items but she standing right there and im pretty sure she just put back after we left. Mainly she standing the right there and looking at the food presentation. Its sad.

The last two Saturdays the music was so loud they couldn’t even hear me when I was ordering and I had to yell my order to them. And they never had vegetables ready or cooking and they ran out so today when I asked for a double veggies the worker literally scraped just onions off the bottom of a pan and called it a day. He proceeded to keep asking me what else I wanted on my burrito and when I asked him do I not get peppers with the veggies he looked at me like I was stupid and I was so angry I almost left and if I wasn’t getting food for other people I would have definitely left! DO BETTER! This used to be a great place to eat!

First time trying Pancheros. The food was VERY tasty! But—surprisingly small meat portion for the standard bowl; I had to ask for another one—which was $2 for a single tiny scoop.
My main reason for the review was the atmosphere behind the counter. In front of several of us customers, the manager on what seemed to be a frustrated power trip, decided to loudly berate all of the other employees, who all look like beaten dogs. Two were trying hard, two looked like they don’t care about anything.
Your evening manager might need to learn a lesson or two on how to lead & build with a culture of encouragement and not shame. Felt toxic and lifeless.

Love the fact they grill the soft shells fresh. I chose carnitas and it was good. Do add the Blue corn chips and queso.
Good spot for lunch or quick dining.

Got in and served very fast. Most of the staff was very polite. Its evident there is no pre-employment drug screening. At one point a guy behind me said, ill have 3 bowls please. One guy laughed and said, “that sounds pretty good right now”. Very unprofessional. Otherwise the food was good and prepared quickly. 3 stars

Just left and not happy! Asked for a Cheese Quesa, the board says it was 5.40, but they charged me 7.25. Oh, new price hike they said, we just haven’t gotten a new board. False advertising, and sneaky under hand pricing. Watch your back people. They stiff you anyway they can.

I saw my boy making the burrito farmers blow all over my sandwich. Added the perfect touch of gooey salt though, kinda like free guacamole. Y’all should ask him to do the same for you

No changing table in either of the bathrooms. No changing table in a sit down restaurant is crazy, I understand d not having one in the men’s, but I even took my time to check women’s and nothing. It’ll take 20 minutes to put 1 if not 2 in there! Food was alright, tables were dirty, people behind the counter were alright but not the friendliest.

This is consistently the dirtiest Pancheros I’ve ever been to. Was disappointed two years ago, thought I would try it again, nothing has improved. It boggles my mind how many times multiple employees will walk past the same pieces of trash, napkins and gloves on the floor. Polite employees, but lacking pride or leadership.
