We get this quite regularly and it never disappoints. We got murgh makhani, chilli massala, jalfrezi and a byriani and each one was as nice as the other. The barn rice and poppadoms were lovely too. And the service at the counter was very friendly. HIGHLY recommend

We’ve tried to book a dine-in a couple of times for our special days post covid. Unfortunately, we haven’t succeeded as they only do takeaways as of now. However, we have always loved their chicken tandoori & murg haryali it’s fresh, succulent and top quality. The best Naan bread in Cork so far

One of the best. Though it has very less options for vegitarians both in main and starters the items ordered were fantastic. Service was very good. Reservation is must as this is a small place and has very limited seating. Dal haveli and haveli starter platter is must try

Food was just ok. We had Paneer Makhni. Paneer pieces were soft, gravy was watery and sugared up. Not worth the money. Naan was thin and crispy, it was ok too. I would say “ not worth a second try”.

Aloo prata:9/10
onion kulcha:8/10
Chicken tikka masala:7/10
Indian Coffee:7/10

The food portion is good
The Indian breads are soft and fresh, kulcha was a bit too much buttery.

Curry was quite good but the chicken has the frozen meat taste may be due to lack of marination.

This restaurant was previously a sit-in, but is now takeaway only.
When they give you a pickup time, stick to it as your food won’t be ready any earlier.
Parking very difficult, very limited nearby on street parking. Get someone to drop you off or park in the nearby Tesco multi storey.

Food authentic, fresh and tasty

I think the quality of the food here has suffered since their change to just takeaway service only. Food quality is just OK. Ordered the Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Masala. A very small amount of thinly sliced chicken in the Jalfrezi, which was very dry and overcooked, as a likely consequence of this. The Sauce tasted nice but the dish was not very substantial…I was still hungry when I had finished it. With the rice as an extra cost to the dish, the small Amount of chicken and small portion, it’s very poor value for the price. I understand the concept of quality over quantity, but if you’re still hungry after you’ve eaten it, well what’s the point in that. I won’t be rushing back there unfortunately…such a pity as the standard was better when it was operating as a restaurant.
