I love a house-turned-coffee-shop! Renegade is small and cozy, always friendly service, good coffee, seasonal drink recipes and — COMFORTABLE seating –which can be hard to find in a lot of coffee shops these days. They have outdoor seating for those good weather days too! Small parking area but there’s ample overflow parking at the adjacent library lot.

I came across Renegade Coffee Shop while driving down N Oak and decided to stop in—so glad I did. From the moment I opened the door, I was welcomed into a warm and inviting environment. Everyone there, from the staff to the other guests, made it feel like a genuinely friendly place. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the coffee and treats are, which is honestly one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. I live about 15 minutes away, but I’ll gladly make the drive every day just to avoid other coffee shops—especially for the prices here. Great atmosphere, great prices, and really good coffee. Highly recommend!

I have never seen such a cute coffee shop like this anywhere else! I love the vibe of this place! They have a great patio area for enjoying your coffee and the weather. I tried one of their seasonal coffee flavors and it was very good! I will have to come back to try other flavors! I’m a big plant person so I love their plant displays throughout the shop. I’m so glad I discovered this place!

Such a cool place to visit! I would highly recommend stopping here for a great cup of coffee and some delicious pastries. I gave 4 stars on the food because I got the bacon and egg breakfast burrito, and it wasn’t the best. It was decent, but I was looking for perfection. No matter what, this is still a must stop!

Met with a buddy to hang out and chat here. Turns out the coffee shop is immediately adjacent to a public library. Seemed like the venue was popular with a younger / college crowd. The staff was friendly and helpful. I asked the barista for suggestions for tea, and was pleased with what I got (London something or other). The was a bit of a line most the time we were there, but I’m pretty sure most orders were completed in less than 5 minutes. The venue was small, but fairly cozy. A book / library theme was present throughout, which I liked. The background music was nice, but not so loud as to be distracting or overwhelming. Would recommend if looking for a casual meet up place or beverage in the Northlands / Gladstone area.
