Loved this place. The tacos were so good, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered hit. The service was amazing too everyone was super nice and made us feel really welcome. You can tell they care. Left happy and will for sure be back.

Started with an endless supply of corn chips and salsa. Refried beans were available for the asking. Generous portions of good tasty food with one order being gluten free. Good service and friendly staff. Older building and the outside could use a coat of paint but does not detract from the fine meal. Fair and competitive prices. Not an upscale restaurant but clean.

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Indiana to Texas. We eat Mexican food on average 3-4 times a week. This place was ok. Our server was busy talking to other employees, we had to ask for our own refills.
The salsa was good as was the guacamole. I had the Tex Chimi, it had potatoes in it. It was bad but it was good, I could have done without the potatoes. My husband got something with a flank steak. He enjoyed most of his meal.

The food was good, nice big shrimp, but the skirt steak was 3 very thin small pieces. It was however tender and juicy. Chips were good, salsa has good flavor but it was like tomato sauce. Service was good.

Horrible. Salsa was serve with chips and when I got to bottom of dish there was a sweet and low packet in it , then a pc of cardboard. When we brought it to their attention they didn’t seem to think anything of it. Then I ordered quacamoli tostadas and got tostadas with beans and a dallop of quac! Just a terrible experience. Then to top it off no compensation for the bad salsa, in addition was gonna pay with a gift card and they charge you for that. Who does that. Will never return and will continue to put bad reviews until they acknowledge. Horrible, horrible customer service!

It looks as if LaMex is in decline. I’ve been a customer for 20 years and what was once top notch has fallen to just OK. Tonight the food was cold. It was taken back and returned, but it was about the same temp. I declined having it returned again. Portions seem reduced, but quality is good. Salsa had no spice, chips tasted like they came from a bag. Drinks were good, service was excellent, prices were high. It has priced itself out of my income bracket. Too bad, I really liked the place.
