Thai Village Restaurant – Batavia
Allow me to reintroduce myself, I am Jeanea! In real life, I am a TRUE FOODIE! And I always wanted to do restaurant reviews so here I am! Ready to risk it all to tell you all about the foods I love and the those I distain from.
Thai Food is ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL AND IS BEST SERVED IN THE PLACE THAT PREPARES IT TO OBSERVE ITS TRUE ESSENCE. It should be like an experience of no other …Unique , Peaceful and Tastefully Devine. I don’t like mediocre .

This isn’t how I imagined doing my first food review especially through a door dash delivery. But as soon as I opened the bag and the rush of delicious aromas fill the air, I knew this was the moment. Hair standing on my head uncombed, barefoot and barely clothed in my foodie happy space on my living room sofa and my coffee table . Messy background and all because MANNNNNN I GOT TO TELL SOMEBODY!

I ordered the Sum mai app, Spicy ️ Basil Beef and Shrimp Fried Rice and Thai Custard and Sticky Rice dessert. I tried the Sum Mai which is a mini Dumplings filled with ground shrimp and crab meat. Although I didn’t photo it, I damn near bit my tongue eating it. Mouthwatering delicious I tried the Thai Custard next and BABY I WILL SLAP YO MAMA FOR ANOTHER ONE! Not mine though, I am not that crazy! Before long I calling out Bae and humming saying Man MAN MAN as I open my entrée. The Sweet stench of Basil escaped and danced in my nose as I lifted my fork from my bowl. As it hit my mouth and slither down my throat. All I would say was man man this is good. My hunnyBae says when I say those words, we have a good foodie slam dunk! But I am going to simplify it with a simple THANKS! Amazing Thai Food and I can not wait to do this review in person! 5 stars ✨

Delicious Thai restaurant right in the center of downtown Batavia Illinois. Parking is either across the street or around the corner. Very good food and ample seating. The interior of the restaurant does already need to be redone soon as it is very old and has looked the same for probably the last 15 years. The food however, is quite authentic and delicious. This restaurant has a BYOB policy on alcohol so feel free to bring your own.

Hands down, the absolute best Thai restaurant anywhere near the Tri-cities. Definitely our “go-to” place for Thai food! We have dined here every week or so for the last ten years. The food is very consistent, always fresh, and the flavors and aromas simply memorable! In all these years we have never once been disappointed with the food or the service.

I just had the best green curry of my life, and it was GF! The server was very friendly, the food was very reasonably priced, and it was very quick service! For any gluten allergy concerns, just tell them ahead of time and they can accommodate it. All curries are GF, and the pad thai can be made GF on request.

Very good food and service the Pad Thai is really great probably some of the best I’ve had and I’ve had many. And their panang curry with tofu is amazing too. Pad Thai lunch special is affordable and tasty. Their red chili paste is beautiful too.

Support local always and give a try for yourselves you won’t be disappointed. Great option with lots of tasty meals especially for lunch specials. Pad Thai for sure is amazing….panang curry amazing….Tom kha soup amazing. Those are favorites and suggestions and the spring rolls nice too. Pro tip add a tiny bit of their chili oil to the spring roll sauce!

This is one of our ‘go to’ Thai restaurants. We’ve done side-by-side comparisons, ordering takeout from multiple places at once, and this one was our favorite in terms of taste, variety, portion size, price.

We dined in this visit and were a little disappointed, though. We think they forgot we ordered spring rolls because our entrées arrived first and we had to ask about the rolls. The roll wrappers were a little dry, almost crumbly, too. The entrées were as good as ever, at least.

We’ll go back and see how the next visit goes.

Thank you for staying open on Labor Day! We had a nice family and friend meal here. It was our first time here. Absolutely done right and perfect in every way.

Had a Pad thai-very flavorful. Our very picky kid loved the “red chicken” in the marinade. Pad Woon Sen had generous glass noodles and awesome veggies in there too. The kids always eat all the noodles. We loved it. We did the pineapple fried rice and regular veggie fried rice and both were delicious. Pad se ewe made the kids happy too, and those little crisp egg rolls were enjoyed with the sweet and sour and the spicy sauce which was also a little sour. We are SO happy to have tried a new place we just love it and will be back. Service was friendly and their to go boxes are a nice size that will fit in the shallow counter depth fridges.

Update to say, this place is a gem, and now having gone back recently in need of Gluten-free options, I enjoyed the Tom Yum soup, the Pad thai and the pad woon Sen gluten-free, just salted, no soy (although hopefully GF soy sauce can become a staple there too). I will update next time with foodie photos!

Went here with family for dinner and enjoyed the food. Hot soups on winter day tasted amazing.
Veggie rolls with steamed rice sheets tasted amazing with chilli oil.
Basil fried rice and drunken noodles with lots of veggies – both were good

Iced tea with boba with extremely sweet for us.

Overall we received a great service and experienced a cozy ambience.

Authentic Thai cuisine in Batavia. The food was good and the service was good too. We placed our orders with the request of not too spicy and the result was that the dishes were a bit sweet.

Great food. Friendly staff. Quick service. They told me 20-25 minutes over the phone. I was there in 5, 6 minutes later I was walking out with some of the best Thai food I ever had.
