We went for dinner at this owner run cafe. My date had the spaghetti and meat balls and i had the lasagna. Both were good portions and came with a home made salad, chef made dressing, Italian yeast knots with garlic and EVOO and wonderful Chef made table bread. They have a great selection of wine, both white and red.
PS… We love the tomato sauce becasue it has a rich tomato taste (not sweet!).

So I went off of most reviews and thought, I should give these guys a chance. Absolutely not worth the money. its edible, definitely not a Sicilian pie, what i would consider a half order of calamari, veal parm cutlet was good but awfully small. I dont know if you are trying to save money or your cook just doesn’t know what he is doing. For the folks that dont like a sweet sauce , this place is not for you

We had the best dinner there last night. The veal parmesean was tender and outstanding. My Sorrento salad was just the right size and tasty. We also had garlic knots . The tiramasu and cannot were the perfect way to end dinner.

We had a club party, and the organizer bought trays of Cage Amalfi lasagna and tiramisu to serve. We were absolutely delighted. It was fantastic, and our local authority on all things Italian said it was some of the best he has had. I agree! Absolutely authentic!!

You HAVE TO try Cafe Amalfi. I have never ever experienced a pizza crust like it, and the stromboli dough. It’s so delicate yet crispy, I truly have never had anything like it it’s a surprise every bite!
They also have quite a menu, many lovely pasta dishes. The chicken piccata and shrimp scampi are excellent.

Best fettuccine alfredo I’ve had hands down! The house dressing that comes with the salad is incredible also! The owner who took my order was extremely polite and made sure we had every thing we needed. Will definitely be back!

Found this wonderful place while staying close by. Every time we walked in we were treated like royalty. Owner/chef was top notch and really has a passion for his Italian food, and it shows in everything we were lucky enough to eat in our 4 visits.

A very small quaint place, only 6 tables in the entire place. In previous reviews the owner got a lot of negative reviews but he was very friendly with us. Yes he does the majority of the cooking and serving, but was very efficient , he had one other server on that night as well, but again it’s a small place.
The food is homemade authentic but everything has a sweetness to the sauces, that is not my favorite and why I gave it a 3. If you like that style of sauce then you will love it.

We do family pizza night every Saturday and thought we had been to every place in town. We were surprised to learn of Cafe Amalfi and on a tip from a stranger we gave it a try. We dropped in on a Saturday at about 8p and there were only 2 other tables seated so it was quiet. The service was really good (pretty sure he was the owner). The food came out super quick, almost surprising fast, yet it was perfectly cooked. The pizza crust was thin, but not too thin, it was just thick enough to give nice stability but not so dough’ie that you felt stuffed after one piece. The crust flavor was outstanding. The fresh mushrooms were the best we’ve ever had on a pie, hearty slices so they didn’t cook down to mush. French fries were good too, steak fries. It’s not a complaint, but a comment, the French Fry appetizer portion is kinda small. We ended up with like 15 to 18 fries per order so keep that in mind based on the size of your group and passion to crush fries. All in all, great find and we’ll certainly visit again.
