First time here, and it was Valentine’s Day. It was busy so that told me it must be a good place, and it was. I don’t usually come t on the decor but I was really impressed with the cleanliness and contemporary look. Hats off to Derick for his great service, fun and friendly attitude. The food was very delicious. My wife ordered eggs over easy and she is very picky about it. So loved her eggs and complimented the chef. I had the brisket skillet with a pancake side. Absolutely delicious, the pancake itself could have been a meal. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Anne was our waitress and she was very helpful! She answered all our questions and was attentive to the service of our table.
I ordered veggie skillet and it was delicious!
My only complaint is the prices of the sides and up-charge ($2) of the “premium” sides. I understand charging extra for meat but it’s basic sides such as fruit.

How does a brunch place get everything wrong! The pancakes were burnt, the waffles were overly crusty, and the croissant was dry and stale. On top of that, there was absolutely no salt in the omelettes, chicken, or even the hash browns — everything tasted bland and careless. For a place that’s supposed to specialize in brunch, failing at the basics across the board is incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Went for lunch on a Friday. No wait time, of course, and the service was wonderful. I loved the atmosphere and food was delicious. I know they get busy on the weekends, so I recommend you sign up for reservations. It’s worth going.

Beautifully designed big indoor space with plenty of space between the tables. The food is incredible with a full coffee bar, a nice menu of alcoholic drinks including a lovely Mimosa! Wonderful place to dine with friends and family.

In the area and wanted to eat something quick at the time. Only 1 other table was occupied beside us. Service wasn’t the best but the waiter was nice. It’s a cute little restaurant and I love the huge picture of the bonnets. Ordered the club sandwich with fruit and it was stacked! Nothing too crazy to rave about but it was a good amount of Sammy and fruit, well it’s fruit. Husband ordered the pesto chicken with a salad. Pretty disappointing, chicken was really small, bland and it seemed like it was just re-heated, 1/10. Overall, it was decent, I probably will come back to check out the breakfast and hopefully that might be better.

– First-time visitor
– Cute atmosphere and decor
– I ordered the Cowboy Skillet. It was not tasty or well seasoned. It was dry and crunchy like.
– The pancake was okay and a decent size. It was not as tender as I was used too.
– The server was attentive and friendly, which I appreciated.
– Serving size was comparable to other brunch houses
– The food was enjoyed by the other person in my party. I was not that impressed, but I would be willing to visit again and try something other than that dry skillet meal.

Shay was great, give her a raise!
We had excellent service (Shay) and the food was equal in quality. When I tell you that none of us finished our food because of the amount you receive, I’m not joking. You won’t be disappointed with anything you order here.

My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast here at the Bluebonnet Brunch House.
The decor was very nice, clean and classy. The food was good- I ordered the cinnamon roll waffles, crispy bacon and eggs. My husband got the cowboy skillet, biscuits and a side of gravy (yum) and breakfast potatoes- (perfect!). We like to order different things so we can try each other’s food. I didn’t care for the flavor of the oil used on the eggs and hash browns in the skillet, it was a bit sweet. But my husband loved it. The orange juice was incredible- fresh squeezed and the coffee was very good, fresh and smooth, not bitter.
Our server was kind and gave good insight on the menu and we didn’t wait a long time for our order which was nice.

Overall good choice and we will visit again!

This was amazing! Our family doesn’t usually eat out much, but I took a chance with Bluebonnet and had such an amazing time! I think part of it was how it felt like home, food that reminds you of nostalgic flavors, but elevated! And the thing that most made it feel like home was definitely our server, Anne! She was so kind to us and brightened everyone’s morning with her kind and positive attitude! Bluebonnet is definitely worth the time, and we WILL be back!
