My favorite Korean restaurant in Hawaii for sure! I’ve been coming here since when I was little. Every time I visit Hawaii, I come here for their cold noodle and kalbi which never disappoint!

Korean cold noodle specialty place. I had a combo set with cold noodles and galbi. Broth is good but the noodles weren’t rinsed out properly, leading to a starchy residue on the noodles. Meat was tender and sweet. I also think this place is overpriced at about 45 for the set. Down the road you can find a lunch special for noodles and galbi for 27. Def wasn’t 20$ worth better.
The cold noodles hit on the hot day, but I wouldn’t return.

One of the best cold noodles on the island. Anyone knows one that’s even better? Get the combo with cold noodle. There was 5 of us so we got two sets and 4 bowls of cold noodles with extra noodles and the spicy squid. Cold noodles are hard to make and not all Korean restaurants make it! We love cooking here for the cold noodles!

We got the cold noodle in soup, kalbi and also the mandoo and noodle in soup. The cold noodle was refreshing, the soup was delicious and noodle got good chew to it. The kalbi was juicy and came with good amount of half way caramelized onions. Mandoo was delicious, soup and noodle was seasoned lightly, perfect just like how I like it. Banchan was okay with kimchi, white kimchi and pickled korean radish. Would definitely come back for the cold noodle in soup!

We ordered cold noodles, boiled dumplings, and bibimbap. The food was overall good — especially the cold noodles and bibimbap. My friend liked the dumplings, but they weren’t to my taste.
The water was surprisingly okay compared to other places in Hawaii. The atmosphere was a bit awkward with no music and only six people in the restaurant.
The staff understood Japanese, which helped my friend a lot. But toward the end, even though it wasn’t closing time, they suddenly handed us the check — and it already had a preset tip, with no explanation. That was disappointing and felt rude, especially since the place wasn’t busy.
We were ready to tip properly, but this left a bad impression. What could have been a favorite spot ended on a sour note. I won’t be going back.

one of the best cold noodle place in honolulu. korean food is generally overpriced on the islands, expect to spend 30bucks each if you want a satisfying meal: can’t just order the noodles, you gotta get some grilled protein on the side. they have combo deals for two so take a buddy. both the spicy no broth version and the northern version are both good. they give you unlimited white kimchi and pickled radish so i always add more to my dish to get my veggie fix.

Authentic Korean food cooked by a bunch of Korean moms. Old style, OG Korean restaurant. Not your hipster LA-style joint.
The Set B: cold noodles w/ kalbi and an extra order of noodles was perfect for two people. I really appreciated that they served the extra noodles in a separate bowl w/ the chilled broth.
Would definitely go back.

Worst experience ever. The server brought the bill during the meal and asked us to pay. What was even more surprising was that they wrote the tip amount by hand. I told them that this is not normal and they replied that this is the minimum. It is not even stated on the menu and this is illegal. I will never come here again.
