Great atmosphere, felt very cozy and family friendly. The food portions were incredibly generous and there was so much attention to detail with toppings and sauces for almost every dish we ordered. Awesome menu variety with something for everyone. We came for breakfast and we will definitely be back for dinner. All the staff was friendly and efficient. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends!

I like to try biscuits and gravy wherever I Am at. Dahlia is a hometown cafe here in Union Missouri that I eat at quite often but have never sat down and just had their biscuits and gravy. They are a place of Mexican American fusion even for breakfast. The biscuits were fluffy and light and good sized and the gravy was well made and spiced. I do think the biscuits were probably the type that come on a tray and the gravy was probably a mix type and not homemade but overall I’d give it probably a four out of 5 stars it was good. There is one thing that you need to know about Dahlia if you’re coming to Union, they are a little bit higher priced than a lot of the local restaurants that you will see but I think their food is definitely worth it. However it might be a little high for biscuits and gravy for most people in the area. Also they have some of the best fresh squeezed orange juice you can ask for but you do pay for it, it’s like $6 a glass but it is really good orange juice and I will definitely have more that’s why I’m willing to pay that for that orange juice. So this is not somewhere you should go if you’re on a really strict budget but it is a great place to have a breakfast date with your significant other. You can even drink and try their many different types of mimosas that they have on a regular menu. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal from Dahlias Cafe.

The place is busy, wait staff is extremely fast and there is plenty of them. I had the 2 egg special over tortillas win dahlia sauce and it was amazing. Coffee is bottomless and tastes wonderful. IMO the price is on par with the quality of food and service.

Very disappointed today. Seated and waitress came for drink order. Brought drinks and did not ask if we were ready to order (which we were)and never returned to take our order. After 20 minutes she still had not returned. She walked past several times and glanced over but did not stop. People seated next to us (came in after us), got their food and we haven’t even ordered yet. I finally had to go up to entrance and ask guy at counter if someone was going to take our order or we were leaving. He saw where we were sitting and sent the waitress over. No apology just took order. We ordered salad and sandwich which they brought out together. They usually bring salad first. By the time we ate our salad our sandwiches were no longer hot, barely warm. Very disappointed, will probably never go back. Waitress at least could have said sorry I made you wait. Also she never came to refill our water. Also cafe seems very noisy

I cannot wait to go back! Absolutely AMAZING! The atmosphere, the wait staff and the food were superb! My daughter and I decided to try a little bit of everything. We tried the biscuits and gravy, pancakes, the “Supreme Scramble” and some crispy bacon (as requested). DELICIOUS! If you have not checked them out yet, go now! They serve breakfast-lunch until 2pm and serve dinner from 3p-8p. I am already working on planning my next visit! ❤️

Omelets were tasteless and mediocre. I tried the supreme omelet and the outside was overcooked while the inside was runny. Very tasteless. My wife order one with chorizo and the meat tasted raw. She then asked for two overmedium eggs with sausage instead and they brought her scrambled eggs with over cooked sausage. We will not be going back. Overpriced, low quality breakfast.

We had a lovely experience. We tried a bit of everything. Crepes with berries, banana, cream cheese, eggs, parfait, breakfast, chimichanga, benedicts, iced coffees, a breakfast crepe, pancakes etc. Food was wonderful. Quality and quantity was generous. Prices were on point. Service was good and attentive. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

My husband had a craving for some fried chicken. I got on the DoorDash app and searched fried chicken in the area and Dahlia Cafe popped up. We both figured we’d give it a chance. Ordered pickup and went and got it ourselves. I got myself a steak. We normally don’t eat out because usually it’s always a letdown for the amount of money you pay… Well I can 100% confirm this was the best food we have had in awhile. He drove home with it to Washington and it still was hot and delicious. 10/10 to this restaurant. We don’t ever leave reviews like this, but I can confirm we will be back.

Before my husband and I visited Dalhlia’s, I did read the reviews, which was very negative. I thought let’s give, let’s give it a try anyway! It was 9:30am on a Friday. I ordered breakfast and my husband lunch, we both had bloody Mary’s in celebration of his last radiation treatment that morning. Our drinks were at our table within minutes. Food 15 minutes after we ordered. They were busy, people in and out. Food was excellent! Even saved $3 on the total by paying in cash, turned it into part of the tip for our wonderful waitress! We WILL be back!!
