First time visit. The restaurant was nice & clean. The service was very nice & attentive. We ordered the shrimp and vegetables & personal 2 meat order of orange chicken & beef with vegetables. It came with egg drop soup which was o.k. Sadly, however, the food, which looked lovely, did not have much flavor.
My friend tried the beef from my meal and also said not much flavor, almost gummy texture. The vegetables were ok. Chicken didn’t seem to taste like it was made with seasonings. A little better after next day after sitting in the sauce.

Lung Fung absolutely impressed us last night. Even though we arrived right at closing, and even though the order mix‑up about which sauce came with the dish was our fault, the staff didn’t hesitate for a second.
They stayed late — happily — and remade the entire order with the brown sauce my spouse prefers.
No attitude, no hesitation, no pushback.
Just genuine customer service, which is rare these days.
As for the food: possibly the best “Chinese” cuisine I have had in Boerne.
The flavors were spot‑on, portions were larger than expected, everything was cooked properly, served fresh, and still hot by the time we got home.
They delivered real value and authentic flavor.
And I have to mention the front‑of‑house service. Angela is not only strikingly beautiful, she carries herself with a warm, professional, genuinely pleasant demeanor.
She clearly takes pride in taking care of customers, and it shows; even at close.

Lung Fung is very good. From the service, the price and the food! The waitresses are very friendly and polite. I had the lunch buffet ($14) because I enjoy a variety and it was all so fresh and clean. My food was incredibly flavorful. The egg rolls and wantons were the best I’ve had, probably ever. That was surprising on a fantastic way. My Husband ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special with a coke. We were both pleased to know that it was actual Coke and not some off-brand. He also had egg drop soup. It was excellent! Not watered down, very tasty. We are not from Texas, just visiting family but if we lived here, we’d come here often! They even give you the cutest dish full of sweet and sour sauce. Our waitress was very attentive. I hope to come back here next time we come.

Pro tip: it’s not on the menu, but you can order their Lo Mein with egg noodles to make it gluten-free (the egg noodles are thinner but still super tasty!). Their fried spring rolls are also gluten-free—which was such a treat since it’s hard to find fried options that are safe. I didn’t realize how much I missed fried food until I had them!
When ordering the dinner special, they were able to substitute the spring rolls in place of the usual egg roll and crab rangoon to make it gluten-free. Also, they’ll let you do a half-and-half plate of pretty much any house specials—not just the ones listed on the menu, which is perfect if you want to try a couple different things.
They do not serve alcohol, but it’s BYOB, which is a great bonus if you want to bring your own wine or drinks.

Update: Been here several times now and is a regular part of our family set of restaurants to visit.
Original post: Nice ‘hidden’ place on the north end of Boerne. Excellent selection of dishes. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are nice with decent portions. Overall a repeat place for us. Tables were a bit sticky though.

Found by accident and will definitely eat here again. Friendly staff. Nice service. The wonton soup was really good. The shrimp with Chinese vegetables was very nicely prepared with high quality ingredients.
