Sometimes these old run down restaurants are the best place for Chinese comfort foods but sadly this place showed the same quality of food as the building its being served in. I ordered the poo poo plater and wor wonton soup
The poo poo plater came with all its original parts the little spinner and fire burner for the chicken skewers and it really looked as if the burner hadn’t been washed since this place was established 35 years ago!
The waitress was friendly but didnt seem to acknowledge that tables require maintenance and one napkin and one spoon for a soup shared was nothing out of the norm here.
When we finished I asked for some sweet and sour sauce togo for our leftovers and they charged $2 for a 1 ounce container. Which i guess i understand but the truth is it didnt come with more than a small 1 ounce condiment saucer so I just felt nickel and dimed plus my hands felt greasy because your not going to get more than 1 napkin per person.
I really wanted to enjoy my dinner because I love Chinese food but this place i would not recommend.
I dont normally review but I just think anyone who visits this place should know what your in for experience and price wise.

It’s affordable, food was made with care and the waitress was knowledgeable about the menu. All around pleasant experience.

This place is horrible don’t waste your money here, They gave me chow mein with a few uncooked noddles and the pork fried rice and vegetable fried rice sucks too! This is the worst Chinese food in America!

At first, the outside wasn’t very appealing and we were looking for another place but it was closed because it was a late lunch. We found this restaurant open and came in. It’s pretty well decorated inside and much nicer than the exterior.
We ordered the Kids Lo Mein, Beef w/Broccoli, and Happy Family. The food wasn’t the best, but it had flavor and we enjoyed our lunch. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Went there because it was across the street from hotel I was staying in. You walk in and the smell of pine sol is overwhelming. The both seats are all ripped. I ordered lemon chicken, fried rice and sweet tea. The tea was so watered down it tasted like brownish sugar water. The lemon chicken was dark brown over cooked with a sweet sauce. The chicken was so tough I could not cut it with a fork and of course they didn’t provide a knife. Was the worst meal I ever had

Excellent service, but the food didn’t taste fresh or authentic to me.

Worst Chinese food we ever had!!! Ordered 2 of the C12 meals. Pork was very greasy, over cooked . Fried Rice was tasteless, no vegetables or onions! Only got 1 container of the sweet and sour sauce with 2 meals. I know why now no customers were there.

This used to be our favorite place in Tucumcari. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s closed. The phone just rings with no answer.

The food was terrible. I had the egg drop soup and it had no flavor. My son got beef lo mein, crab meat ragoon and hot and sour soup. His beef lo mein was just barely edible and for the Crab meat ragoon it tasted like the crab was very old and fishy tasting and the hot and sour soup taste like it was made with dish soap. Not not recommend eating there

A Route 66 gem! This charming little restaurant is a must if you’re making the trip down Rte66 through Tucumcari New Mexico. The friendly service is a bonus to the vintage atmosphere and the good food. I highly recommend the Four Seasons entree and the Po Po Platter.
