This is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve had Mexican food in the Midwest and the southern states.
The beans and rice were dry as a bone and salty, salty, salty and so much black pepper. May have detected some cumin (???). The rice was underdone and half the grains were crunchy.
Fish tacos barely had any fish. It was mostly over fried crust and what fish there was inside the batter was also dried to a crisp. The fish was placed on top of the pico de gallo, vendor sauce, and wilted cabbage and cilantro.
The chips were at least three days old and were served with less than two ounces of salsa. Not worth almost $6.
If somebody comes here that has never had Mexican food they’re going to walk away thinking Mexican food sucks because this isn’t it.
One child’s quesadilla, one child’s taco, two fish tacos, chips & salsa and two lemonades =$75 of dry food. Skip this joint altogether.
Tried many dishes but star was chile rellano . Chimichanga was the next best
Fried fish taco was too much fried so didn’t felt like a fish at all . Burritos and veg bowls were good .
Toddlers had toys to play
Food portions are really huge so order carefully
The highlight of our meal was definitely the Chile Relleno. It had the perfect combination of flavors, pleasing everyone at the table so much that we ordered another plate. The seasonal veggie burrito bowl was also quite good. We were initially skeptical about the Chicken Chimichanga burrito since it was deep-fried, but it turned out to be surprisingly good, not greasy at all. However, it could have benefited from more sauce. We also tried a veggie taco and a fish taco. The veggie taco was loaded with toppings and had a delicious taste. Unfortunately, the fish taco was disappointing as it tasted mostly like deep-fried batter with no distinct fish flavor. Recommend skipping the fish taco. Aside from that, our experience at the restaurant was definitely five-star. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will certainly remember the Chile Relleno. We may even return specifically for that dish.
