As a whole the staff are friendly and the gas station is clean and tidy. The restrooms are always tough to get right but I am always pleasantly surprised that they are super clean and nice. 5+ stars

If you want a Small pizza go somewhere else.
Don’t order a small pizza and have the nerve to expect a small pizza. In this world a small pizza equals a personal pizza that you would normally expect from a gas station.
Apparently they only have large and personal pizza, but you’d never know by calling in and ordering a pizza because they dont actually say that; you have to figure it out when you show up. Then you have to find a drive thru to feed your kids because you thought you ordered a small pizza but you actually got a personal pizza like every gas station sells…..

I’m so thrilled that they now deliver. I have never had 1 bad issue with Godfather’s . For me, it is the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’ve been eating it since they had a dine in place many years ago. So glad they opened back up in St Joseph. Good quality meats and a hint of sweet sauce. EXCEPTIONAL!!!!

Not only was this convenient store my favorite to begin with(clean and friendly staff), but they FINALLY finished the Godfathers pizza area and I was able to order my 1st pizza from there this past weekend. Oh my…just as I remembered it to be when Godfathers franchise used to be in St. Joe!!! So glad they did this at the St. Joe Fast Gas!! I have to drive 15 miles to get it but it is sooo worth it!! The manager there is fantastic and so are the employees! I just love it when I walk in there! I’ve read some negative comments and in my opinion, the people that are leaving the negative reviews are never happy with anything! Don’t let it get to you Fast Gas east Frederick…you’re doing a great job and have great pizza…and coffee too!

Very friendly workers who are willing to explain anything on their menu and they have enthusiasm whereas a lot of places have workers with the opposite in st joseph. Great service and food came fast, small menu but that’s good because it’s manageable and less possibility for confusion or errors to be made. Overall rating is low for my beautiful wife and I because the food and prices are the downfall. Spent $30 for a single speciality pizza (hot stuff) and a single mini side and a Pepsi from the gas station. Pizza and side combo by itself was about $26 after tax if I remember correctly. Churro bites are small, about half the length of a man’s pinky finger. You get 8 of them with a dipping cup of icing. Churro dough plain and slightly greasy but has a crunch. The cinnamon sugar on the outside is more cinnamon than sugar but it is tasty and the only thing saving the churros from being flavorless. A good churro would have a more seasoned batter so the dough itself and all the way through the churro is delectable but these are just small quickly thrown together churros that really aren’t worth the price. Try to douse them in a decent amount of icing and they’ll taste alright but just not worth the price in my opinion ($4.99 for 8 of them.. that’s about $5.48 after tax and that’s about 69 cents per tiny plain average churro). Pizza was an even bigger disappointment than the churros cause the churros we’d rate 5/10. Pizza we’d rate 1/10 because nothing special and it was a horrible deal based on flavor to price ratio. Pizzas cheese had a hefty amount and we personally like cheesy pizzas but unfortunately it was detrimental for this pizza as this cheese was mostly flavorless and the sauce was equally as flavorless with what seems to be a very cheap, not fully ripened, tomato sauce. Commercial farms pick tomato’s very early sometimes even when green then let the air ripen but that leaves you with a watery weak tasting tomato sauce in both pasta sauces and pizza or also marinara sauces… godfathers 5 topping hot stuff speciality pizza we were hoping would blow us away with bold flavors but instead it was a plain dough plain weak watery pizza sauce with hefty amounts of plain cheese and average tasting toppings (pickled jalapeños, beef, pepperoni, italian sausage, and onions). I wouldn’t want to buy a pizza like this again, especially not for $26. Not even for $12 because papa John’s large pizzas are around that price AND more flavorful when done well. Overall godfathers pizza inside the fast gas is on the level of Sam’s club or little Caesar’s style of cheap school lunch kind of pizzas.

My family and I have waited 2yrs to get Godfather’s back in St.Joseph Mo. I have made the drive to Stewartville to many times to count. But after my first order tonight and 54 bucks later. I will gladly drive to Stewartville!!! The location you picked to put Godfather’s is all wrong!! You have a super busy gas station that shares one entrance and one exit to too many businesses!!! My vehicle was hit three times tonight just trying to get on Fredrick that is unacceptable!! Pick a better location or Godfather’s will not make it here!!!
