We ordered several dishes, including Thailand’s famous Papaya Salad, Salt and Pepper Squid, Chicken in Coconut Milk, Seafood Pad Cha, Khao Soi Thai Coconut Curry Noodle Soup, Drunken Noodles with Tofu, and Green Curry. Among these, the Salt and Pepper Squid, Seafood Pad Cha, and Drunken Noodles with Tofu stood out as particularly flavorful, with rich, well-balanced spices. In contrast, the Khao Soi and Green Curry were excessively sweet, almost resembling dessert, which was unexpected for these savoury dishes.

The noodle dishes were excellent, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also had the Thai green curry and jungle curry, which were both very tasty. The jasmine rice and sticky rice went well with them.
The staff were friendly and helped us choose our dishes. A big plus is that the chicken is halal. Overall, the food was delicious, and the service was great. Highly recommend!

My wife had a “hankering” for Thai food on a Saturday lunchtime after grocery shopping, our local restaurant isn’t open for lunch so Google Maps offered two suggestions; we chose Khao Thai because it was next door to her “tanning salon” (go figure).
I believe that “fate” wanted me to dine here; there were several dishes that I was familiar with but tend to be only available in upmarket restaurants, there was one dish that I’d never encountered before so “challenge accepted”.
Every dish we tasted was subtly flavoured and layered so that each one could be individually tasted.
We ordered several starters as “tapas” and a main dish to share.
Our server “Af” was very helpful and informative when choosing dishes, his suggestions proved very tasty.
I will definitely return for an evening meal

We had a fantastic time at Khao Thai! The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. Everything we tried was perfectly cooked and bursting with taste.
A special shoutout to Af, our waitress, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Her warm and friendly attitude made our visit even more enjoyable.
With such great food and service, we’ll definitely be coming back!

I always like to visit Private Family run places so tried this place. I have to say that i really enjoyed it. The food was tasty with prompt service. Micky the owner was very engaging and Alice was a great waitress/manager. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

I love their sweet and sour chicken which was the right level of sauce without to sticky and watery, and I had coconut rice was delicious, however, the combination of the two was very filling. The coconut rice was perfect and not a bit soggy, but this was great and you could taste the flavour of the coconut.
