After a hike on the Wagon Wheel Trail, my family and I decided to try Corky’s Pizza in LaCrescent, MN. My children and my wife absolutely loved this place and said they would be back at Corky’s Pizza soon. We were immediately seated, and the restaurant was not too busy. The menu was extensive, and my children had no difficulty finding something to eat here. The person who waited on us was very good about keeping our drinks full and promptly refilling them. When we asked for condiments or extra special items, he seemed a bit annoyed at the requests. My children had burgers, pizzas, and desserts, and absolutely loved every bite. My sandwich was okay. The sides with most of the entrees are kettle chips, and French fries are not on the menu. The prices were very reasonable and we all enjoyed their breadsticks. Corky’s desserts really left my family wanting more. We liked the presentation and the size of the desserts. My children wanted to come back very soon for the desserts and talked about the desserts on the drive home. I would recommend Corky’s Pizza if you are in the area for a splendid family outing.

Pizza was excellent. We had the taco pizza and loved it. We then went back the next day and got individual pizzas. Plenty for one person. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The taco pizza is fluffing fantastic!! So is the barbecue chicken pizza. Service was friendly and quick. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re ever in the area!

Enjoyed a full-bodied semi-sweet glass of Reisling and an individual veggie pizza. My SO had a burger. Outstanding service and delicious food in a quaint setting.

Best taco pizza around. This establishment is on the pricier side but, the quality dough/crust, quality toppings and all around tastyness justifies the price. I love the seasoning they combine into the cheese blend too. Yum!

I ordered a gluten free taco pizza, and I was not disappointed. I’m sure the regular crust is much better but for folks who can’t tolerate wheat flour the toppings more than make up for it. It came sides of sour cream & taco sauce too! Can’t wait to come back this way in fall to see the leaves change, get some apples, & stop for a taco pizza!

Pizza was great but it wasn’t what we ordered.

I went here with my boyfriend for their 40th anniversary celebration. I had never been here before but my boyfriend had, and he was SO excited for me to try their deep dish pizza. He says that it’s some of the best he’s ever had. We ordered ahead of time to pick up, and it was a two hour wait (which is fine!) We thought it would be busy because we knew they were having a sale on all of their large pizzas for the week.

We picked up our pizza when they said it would be done and it was, hot and ready to go. We paid and grabbed a table but when my boyfriend opened the box he realized that they made a thin crust pizza instead of a deep dish. He went to the counter and politely let them know that a mistake was made, and the only response from the manager was “well we sold out of deep dish.”

No apology, no refund, no “oh let me make that right.” So we ate our thin crust pizza and it was delicious. But my boyfriend was so disappointed that he didn’t get what he ordered and was shooed away when letting the employee know that. On top of that, we sat in a booth right across from the kitchen and watched the employees pull multiple deep dish pizzas out of the oven while we ate our dinner. So the “we sold out” was just a lie.

Also, why would you make a change to an order without notifying the customer? Why would you make the pizza knowing that it was wrong (if it wasn’t just a mistake)? Why didn’t the manager say anything when we were checking out? I think he knew that it was made incorrectly and was hoping we’d just walk out, and realize the mistake when we had gotten home and say “oh well.”

My boyfriend and i have both worked in customer service. We totally get when a kitchen gets slammed it’s all hands on deck and it gets chaotic, emotions are heightened. But I also know as a consumer I don’t want to pay for something that I didn’t ask for. ESPECIALLY after waiting two hours for our meal to be ready.

The thin crust pizza was delicious, i wish i could’ve tried the deep dish but I don’t know if I can get myself to try Corky’s again due to the service.

Very nice and clean. The crust is homemade. You can have pan or thin. I love pan pizza and this hit the spot. Absolutely amazing.

Delicious pizza and garlic bread! Kids loved the ice cream, too. They have a nice selection to choose from. Drinks were refreshing. Incredible service. Will definitely go back.
