Came thru on a snow day and let’s just say the vibes were still there . Located literally in the basement underneath El Guapo, the place gave a cool underground vibe with a touch of Dave & Buster’s in it. There weee plenty of games and arcade games to be played . Plenty of seating room and the huge bar . The music was great . Our bartender Wayne was cool . Super friendly with a heavy hand ( drinks were on point) . The food was good , no complaints . There is a 20% gratuities added to all checks … not a fan but I respect it . Definitely would be back . Cool little vibe

I recently checked out The Basement and had a great experience. It’s literally set up in a basement, which gives it a unique and cool vibe right when you walk in. There’s a free parking lot across the street, which makes it super convenient.

The atmosphere is chill, not ghetto, not bougie, just a good mix of laid back, down to earth people. The male to female ratio was solid, and everyone seemed friendly and relaxed. They even had a DJ on the weekday I went, which added to the vibe.

One of my favorite parts was the classic arcade games. You don’t find those too often anymore, and it definitely adds character to the space. The layout is spacious, so you don’t feel cramped.

I didn’t try the food this time, but everything else was on point. The bartender made a great Moscow Mule, perfectly balanced and refreshing.

Overall, I’ll definitely be back. I’ve already told my friends and family about it, and we’re planning to return together to show support.

We had so much fun here as adults!! I loved the basketball game and air hockey the most. I recommend only using 1 card, because you can’t combine them. We ended up with 3 cards for 2 people, with extra unused tokens.

Husband & I went; hanging out on our Anniversary. Want’d to do something different.

This is a nice Adult-like Vibe place. Explination-there’s 2 prt’s to this location: Upstairs, a Family resturant… El Guapos ,regular seating as such, along wth a bar option sitting area. They have game & triva ngt, also.

Dwnstr’s of the location- The Basement is the name it’s called, also has a place to eat; a couple of small tables–a bar setting style. A sit at bar option, also included. Looks more like a bar. It’s smaller than upstairs. Lighting is different–darker, neon colors, glowing. Have live Dj’s on certain ngt’s -wth rm to dance & a variety of tabletop games, a golf simulation game, arcade games and more.

There is a spot that can be rented out, as well– dwnstr’s.

The only novelty of this place is gone. The food is horrible, but at least it used to have free video games. The food still sucks, the service is slower, and the games are no longer free. Worse, many of them don’t even work and just take your money. I was told to call a phone number for a refund, and that process took forever. After leaving all my information, I was told they would call me back because they couldn’t do it over the phone. What a scam. I do not recommend this place. Maybe upstairs is better.

Service mediocre. We ordered wings and they didn’t provide any plates or napkins. Wings were not good. They automatically add. 20% gratuity so no incentive from the bartenders. They have no beer tap. Very loud and annoying dj. STAY AWAY from the basement.

Little arcade and sports bar below El Guapo. With new versions of old arcade games, golf simulator and a decent amount of tvs to watch sports on.

I came here for drinks and I was not disappointed. The espresso martini is pre-made but it was delicious. The bartenders were very nice.

You are able to order some things off of el guapos menu, but the Basement has it’s own small menu as well which is mainly bar food.

This past Sunday night was their industry night so they had karoke later in the day with drink specials as well.

This place is down a flight of stairs that is not well lit. It is not handicap accessable and I do not recommend trying to use the stairs for people with issues in low light or having walking issues as the step size is too high and not deep enough.

Super cute space. I went during the day so it was not crowded. Service was ok. The bathrooms were clean and all the games worked.

No soap in bathrooms, service is terrible, food is never fresh somehow when the restaurant upstairs is actually good and that’s where it comes from. Game machines feel sticky and dirty which makes it worse the bathrooms are horrible.
