Hands down, these are the best ribs I’ve ever had, anywhere. And I’ve been lucky to have been spoiled by stops at amazing bbq joints all across the country. This beats them all without question. It’s BBQ in it’s purest, truest form: Good quality meat expertly cooked with the perfect balance of seasoning, smoke and time. It is obvious that the good people behind Kennedy Q are experts at what they do.
There are no photos because I shamelessly, proudly and quite contentedly devoured an entire order on the car ride home. This was after eating one of their equally amazing pulled pork sandwiches.

Incredible bbq. The ribs and pork sandwich were so flavorful and everything it needed to be. Beans were the best we’ve ever had, slaw was refreshing and tasty. Best bbq we’ve had in the area. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

The service was great and fast, and man was it good. We enjoyed the mac and cheese and the smokehouse burger. Both were delicious and filling. The baked beans to go with it was the perfect way to end the meal. For dessert we headed next door for icecream and pastries (which were also amazing)

This is 100% one of those places where it may not be in the nicest location or fancy looking but that’s because they focus on the food! So far the best North Carolina barbecue I’ve had since I’ve been here. The pulled pork was super soft, the sauce was tasty, and some of the best baked beans and green beans I’ve had in years.

Softest, most tender pulled pork we’ve ever had! The BBQ Philly was fantastic, and the baked beans complemented it very well. The banana pudding was delightfully fluffy. All in all we’ll definitely come back!

Wonderful pulled pork sandwich with slaw. Stopped here on the way back from Grandfather Mountain and it hit the spot. Pulled pork was tender and the slaw is homemade. The bbq sauce was good on the sandwich but it was perfect without it as well. Definitely worth the stop on the way home.
