Stopped in for a bite after hiking in the area and we were very satisfied with the food and service. Cute cozy outside area and the server was very friendly. Cheese curds were delicious and so was my cod dinner. Highly recommend.

Here is the updated menu 8/19/24. Food was good, we purchased a bottle of wine but the waitress did not ever pour our wine in the wine glass. Moreover, I think it is too expensive for the quality of the food.

Food is great; service is great; but we were asked to vacate our table immediately after finishing eating. Drinks weren’t completely finished, and desert was offered. The owner asked us to please vacate our table because they were “busy”. This was the second time in the last month that this happened. We were only there for 1 hour. Most establishments of this caliber allow at least 1 1/2 – 2 hours for customers. We have been regular customers for about 15 years. We’re reluctant to return. There are many other fine places to dine.

Food is all great. The Dirty Martini was one of best. The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly.

Was disappointed with my meal, not nearly as good as in the past.
Priced higher than expected, especially for the quality and quantity of the food.
Ended up ordering Blue cheese mushroom burger, very dry bun and a medium amount fries. For $18.00. To bad, in the past their food was really good and reasonably priced.

Monday night. Friendly waitress. Lacked knowledge about gluten-free options. Waited a long time for our food. Salad disappointing- tomato pale and flavorless. Bread bowl however was 10/10 amazing. Our entrees were just okay, nothing we’d return for. Atmosphere was relatively quiet. Noise buffering ceiling tiles were a nice touch. Waited a long time for our bill.

Wait staff was so friendly, drinks and food came quickly. Everything was delicious. I had the corn, tomato and shrimp risotto, dh had the blackened rib eye( not blackened) with shrimp , with hashbrowns. Need to go here more often, worth the drive

Dinner for my 50th birthday. Blackened Ribeye with shrimp and a cream sauce. I ordered it medium and it came out very well done. There was very little taste which is odd because that is the point of having a “Blackened” steak. The Old fashioneds were delicious. French onion soup was great. Service was very good. I don’t send food back. This was labeled as the “Chef’s Steak” so I thought it would have been fantastic.

Fabulous place to go out to eat on the weekend. I especially like their rotating Saturday night specials. I love to order scallops with risotto or shrimp or pan fried Walleye. The hash browns are delicious, the side salads with homemade blue cheese or ranch are delicious, as is the fresh baked loaf of bread. I’ve enjoyed a slice of raspberry cheesecake and a piece of key lime pie. You should go to Fishtales to check out the great food and service!

We were close by for the Susie the Duck festival in Lodi and Fish Tales was highly recommended. My wife had the red snapper with scallop and shrimp, (1 each,, the menu did have them listed in singular fashion), and I had the haddock with delicious cole slaw. The food was excellent, served with fresh baked warm bread ! We sat outside and had an umbrella to block the sun on a beautiful afternoon. It was a very enjoyable dining experience.
