Really enjoyed my breakfast here. Everything was made fresh right in front of me there were many local Specialties in the menu. Pricing was surprisingly cheap but the quality and portions were massive. Definitely a locals spot but being from out of town I felt welcomed. Staff were enthusiastic and helpful with food items and questions. It was quite busy but the cook prep my food in now time at all. Establishment was very clean and tidy and while eating my food I could see everyone who worked there cleaning up quickly and thoroughly. 10/10 Local Diamond establishment with a long history and family feel.

Whoever the older whyte lady is taking the orders and waiting on people needs to retire. She has a funky attitude, telling another customer she left her happy attitude at home. Then me black she didn’t say thank you to me like she did ALL the whyte customers. The damn cook told me thank you. This place needs help.

This is a grip of nostalgia from the word go.
This restaurant is never more than it needs to be. One person on the grill, one waitress, and a great lineup of breakfast and lunch options.
The place is cash only, which is not something you see everyday. And EVERYTHING on the menu is under $10.
You won’t find a better value for breakfast in the area. The cynics would say it needs to be renovated, but if they do it would take away from the charm.

My wife and I fly in and out of DTW often to visit family. A year or two ago we stumbled upon this gem looking for a breakfast place nearby. Good food, good service, great prices. We’ve been back a few times since and breakfast here has become a part of our itinerary!

Trying to place an order over the phone is like pulling teeth i feel bad for the owners not sure if they are aware of how much business they lose from the attitude of their servers. It’s like the server didn’t want people to order then when I asked for sausage patties she said are you even sure your ordering from the right place we do not have patties and just adding in we are cash only are you sure you want to order?? Like whattttt then I said just forget it cancel the order she changed her full attitude and was happy I was canceling it’s sad orders make money and keep the business going if you don’t want to people to order then you don’t make money. Food is okay when we actually have been able to order.
