Cozy little retro cafe with lots of American dishes. The mushroom Swiss burger was really good. Especially with a side of fries. The server was very sweet and our food arrived very quickly.
There were a lot of take-out orders being picked up. A pretty steady stream of people coming in for this.
We arrived about 45 minutes before closing and our arrival time was taken in stride. I would recommend this grille for quality comfort, ‘fast’ food in a pleasant setting.

The food here was amazing hands down the best hot dog I ever had. The burger was good as well but the hotdog was just on another level. The hotdog was so juicy and flavorful. I will return if I’m in the area

Stopped in for a quick late lunch while we were visiting the area. Staff was very friendly, the food came out fast, and was delicious. The fries were hot and crispy; the bacon on my BLT was crispy and there was bacon in every bite. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be going again.

Can’t make this up. My son wanted chicken tenders and onions rings. When I asked the waitress told me we couldn’t swap the fries in the kids meal for onion rings but that we could order them separately and get 6 chicken tenders. Ok that’s fine just bring me an extra plate because he is not going to eat an entire meal with all those tenders and onion rings. 3/4 of our food comes out, tenders included which was 3 tenders cut in half to give us 6. When questioned we were told that we got 6, our response but it’s still 3 cut in half. Her response was yes kind of and walked away. Our daughter ordered 6 chicken wings and didn’t even get them until after the rest of the table was finished eating. We also had to pay for the 6 chicken tenders.

We were staying in a Luray for a weekend getaway. We had been hiking in the cold and needed “comfort food.” This was it! The waitress couldn’t have been more friendly and it was much appreciated. She recommended the chicken noodle soup with dumplings and it was so good! Do yourself a favor- get the pie!

Went for a beer and Burger. They had no beer. May take the bar off the name. Burger had good flavor, fries were not very good. Over cooked and lacking in flavor. Hot dog was not bad with the canned chili on top. Fried pickles need a different batter to justify the price. Service was mediocre. Will not return or recommend.

Great value casual table service basic diner serving up burgers & sandwiches and hot comfort food. Just what we wanted after hiking at Shenandoah national park. Cindy Burger was a nice twist with cheese bacon and pb&J !

Stopped here for takeout lunch. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was very appropriate small town diner. The double cheese burger was meaty & solid… feels like it might actually be homemade. Sadly though, the coleslaw was VERY finely shredded and absolutely swimming in sugary mayonnaise soup. Pretty gross. Definitely would not order the coleslaw again but likely would return for a burger and fries

After standing at the register waiting for about 10 minutes without anybody that works there making an appearance some patrons overheard me saying to my wife at least you’ll be able to get a beer and informed us the place didn’t have beer so we walked out. Place is called a bar…..it’s in the name for Christ sake. Food I can’t rate. Service….there wasn’t any. Atmosphere…place seemed clean. Not from around here so I’ll never know about the food. Change your name so unsuspecting people don’t think you are a bar.

This is the ONLY place to get an Authentic Jess’ Chilli Dog. All the food is the same as the original Downtown Harrisonburg location. Even the fries and the crushed ice for the drinks. Brings back alot of good memories! Service was fast, staff was friendly!
Will be back every chance I get!
