Visiting the area for a work training. Wanted some soul food, not fast food. I visited many places in Rochester before but not on the Westside. Whelp, I won’t again! I specifically asked the owner if the yams were out of a can because I didn’t want that. She stated, “I peeled the yams myself”. All lies! The yams were can yams, all soft and watery, greens were bland but okay with some salt. The chicken and cornbread really saved the meal. Still couldn’t eat those yams! When I spend $20, I want what I ask for. The goal is to keep us coming back, not just get a sale !

I’ve ordered from here 3 times this week and the food was EXCELLENT each time! Pork chop dinners include 2 chops (versus some places that only give you one…) and they’re perfect. Mac and yams are on point. Potato salad is fantastic. Chicken is phenomenal. Thank you for this soul food excellence!

My son was visiting from out of town and wanted some good down home cooking and went on line to find a place. There is no delivery to my address in West Henrietta so we had to travel a bit. Boy, was I ever surprised! The food was absolutely delicious and the order was complete and correct. The food was hot and served with a smile. I highly recommend the pork chops and potato salad. Thanks again…..Soulfood Sisters…….for a wonderful dinner experience.

Bought 2 fish dinners. Sides Yams, Mac n cheese, collards greens. Not good at all. Yams were very watery and bland. Tastes like they were out of the can and looks burnt. Mac n cheese very bland, noodles over cooked. Greens disgusting! Can’t describe the taste.

I am a cooker & love to cook but we are currently in the process of remodeling our kitchen & I have been dying for a home cooked meal. So tired of eating fast food since I can’t currently cook in my kitchen. I found this restaurant online & thought I would give them a try. I am so glad I did. Their food is delicious! I just had the cubesteak dinner with rice, gravy, yams, collard greens, mac & cheese & a slice of cornbread. They give you nice size portions, enough for 2 people to eat. So glad I gave them a try. Thank you Soulfood Sistas for a delicious home cooked meal & I look forward to trying your other items.

This place is worst than mid. Worst than 0. Need to be in the negatives. I’m normally not even someone to write a review but I ordered this food cause I was craving some collard greens and cornbread. Big mistake y’all should really be ashamed for selling people the dried out old bland food like this. I’m so disappointed, “sista”….. food also taste funny, it gives spoiled and not fresh. Order at ya own risk but you gonna wish you didn’t. You never know who’s eating your food.don’t mean to be harsh but Always serve someone like you will serve your family or yourself, this is how you miss out on blessings. The goal is for people to come back not to make a quick 20 dollars.

The food here is always great. The chicken is fresh, seasoned and cooked in clean grease Thank God . The snack pack meals are delicious and just enough to hold you over for the price you pay. I’m always a repeat customer. Great customer service on the phone or at their service window. Go get you some food you won’t be disappointed

I ordered four dinners. Three were correct, one wasn’t. Of course the one that was wrong, was mine. It was offered for me to come back for the right one, but seeing that I already live a distance away, it just wasn’t happening. The food looked good, but I’ll never know because I had to give mine away. There’s a difference between chicken WINGS and chicken GIZZARDS. Oh well, I probably won’t be back. Still, happy to support black people when I get the chance.
