Best Mexican food in Forks!
Brings me back home without the 120 degree heat!
Belive it or not, that plate of carne asada fries was only $10, enough food for lunch and (pre)dinner

Was looking for good Mexican street tacos and found them here. The tacos were delicious and full of flavor but the meat Carnitas and Al Pastor was a little on the dry side. There is a variety of salsas and homemade sauces in a cold table to add to your tacos and hot bottled sauces at your table. I will definitely come back and try other things on the menu.

Great homemade food at a great price. Orlando and his family are top notch. Always a pleasure to visit and try the new menu items. Keep up the great food and spirit! UPDATE: new menu items, keeping the menu fresh. The street corn is a must! UPDATE: May 20th, New location in the old Erbert and Gerbert shop. Fresh new look and still the best Mexican food in town. UPDATE: July 1st, still the best Mexican in town. Freshly made, packed with flavor and not the standard boring food from the rest of restaurants in town. It’s a must try. AUG 12th, love the taco specials on Tuesdays and Fridays, great idea! Got to try this real deal Mexican restaurant. UPDATE: The enchiladas were flavorable and juicy. The tacos are always spot on, not your Taco Bell of Taco John tacos. Your missing out if you haven’t tried the food.

Stopped to get 6 chorizo and egg tacos the food was okay chorizo was dry and more on the burnt side. But i get back home and go to put some hot sauce on the tacos and found there’s the 6 tortillas but only 5 had meat I could see missing one completely more than just putting an empty tortilla by itself in the box. Other than that and the meat just being dry and crispy it was decent at best

The 3 Tacos de Asada tasted really good, the rice was great tasting too with a Guava drink @ $17.00. Chatted quickly with a couple other customers, one has a Carne Asada Fries which was huge and another a big burrito of some kind. Both said it was good food too.

Excellent place to eat. They have the most options for authentic meats. You will not find a better taco in Grand Forks for a better price. The serving portions is crazy. They have a lot of options for sauces and you can’t beat their daily specials.

Nasty. Super oily tacos and tortilla taking apart. I don’t recommend. Not going again.

This is the real deal folks! If you have spent time in Mexico or El Salvador THIS is the food. And it is AMAZING. By far the best restaurant in Grand Forks.
Tacos Al Pastor are my favorite. I notice they vary some of the ingredients- and I love tasting them every time. This is NOT McDonalds- if you want consistent, go to a franchise. I go here so much that I have got to know the family. It is a small run family business- and they are wonderful kind people (and FABULOUS cooks).
5 stars!

Very thankful to finally have a legit Mexican restaurant in town! Food is excellent, big portions, and phenomenal salsas and sauces (“hot” means HOT here, not “Midwestern Scandinavian” hot). If your usual “Mexican” joint is on Washington Ave, you owe it to yourself to come down here and find out what ACTUAL Mexican food tastes like!

So good! The most authentic Mexican you’ll find in the Midwest. Food is always amazing and surprisingly filling. You can expect a 5-30min wait depending on how busy they are and what you order – but everything is worth the wait. Definitely one of my favorite places for lunch.
