We had an amazing dining experience here. The service was warm and attentive, and the chef demonstrated a high level of skill in preparing exceptional sushi. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the rice was perfectly seasoned and balanced. Definitely a great place to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine.

Btw the restroom is exceptionally clean!

We were so sad with the closing of Nippon. But now we are elated with Fuji! The atmosphere is chic and perfect for a date night. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious!! I especially loved my una don! We will be back.

Affordable Japanese food in a upscale shop

Their eel dish was fantastic but wish it came with their good quality sushi rice (instead of regular rice)

This was the best sushi i’ve had in a long time. Everything was very fresh and had big portions. We had the una don eel rice dish, Negihama yellowtail traditional roll (pictured), and hibachi steak. I’ll be back for more of the maguro sashimi too. Very beautiful interior and attentive staff. This might be a new favorite of mine!

Everything was perfect, from the sake recommendation to the nigiri. The hostess/server couldn’t have been more wonderful and their Texas Roll is excellent.

We have been searching for another sushi place since Nippon closed about a year ago (same location). Yesterday, we discovered that the location had reopened as a different sushi restaurant and decided to give it a try. To our surprise it was basically the same as Nippon, including many of the same workers. They definitely used the time to renovate a bit and polish the decor and it looks very good. So yeah, great food, easy parking, pleasant atmosphere! I hope people rediscover this location as it needs to stay around as we’ve lost too many good local restaurants in the last few years.

Die hard fans of Nippon such as myself would be glad to hear that the excellent food and friendly service still lives on at Fuji. Top notch sushi and the best prices. The staff is extremely friendly. A no frills, cozy place that’s perfect for casual dining or fancy dinner dates. 🙂

It’s not Nippon, but it’s clearly trying to be. The bones are still there—the lighting, the familiar feel—with a noticeable renovation glow-up. No music, which leaves the space a little flat, but the food holds up. Clean flavors, well executed. Bonus points for the expanded adult beverage menu.

Personal loss: no plum roll. Tragic.

Quick heads-up—they’re short-staffed, so bring patience along with your appetite.
