I also ordered the salmon and creme brulee, both of which were wonderful!
Parking was a bit confusing if you’re not staying at the hotel. I asked if I was okay to park up front and was told that was fine.
Initial service was a bit off-feeling as the host stand had another couple picking up an order. It was over 5 minutes before I was acknowledged (which felt a bit awkward as the place was very slow and the couple and host were silent and not interacting). Pretty minor but strange. Otherwise great experience!
Food was not great, the drinks were much worse.. probably the worst drinks I’ve had at a restaurant. Even had the orange crush remade, and still was bad. We sat outside and the lights were constantly dimming then brightening randomly was very odd.
Host was nice and so was the waiter but he struggled a bit knowing the menu or what I was asking for, host said he was training but no one even came to check on him or my party.
Was here 19aug
The worst part about this was for a table of TWO, we were charged a $32 service charge. I have never in my life heard of a restaurant charging a service charge for a party of two. It is common for parties of 6 or more to be charged a service charge at many restaurants. So, with tax and the service charge, it was an extra 51 dollars. It just blows my mind that we had a mediocre overall meal and we paid close to 250 dollars with tip for TWO PEOPLE.
We left our Valentine’s day date in shock and disappointment. We wont be returning here when there are so many better places to eat and spend our money. Our waiter was very nice and attentive and we thank him for his service!
