The food is amazing. The best Mexican food I’ve had in years and I have traveled quite a bit and lived in the southwest. This place reminded me of a popular place in McAllen, TX, which is a border town. Excellent flavors and super fresh. Everything is prepared very well. They have what is called “supreme sauce” which was very unique and tasted great. I love the steak tacos al carbon with a side of salsa verde. The salsa verde is fantastic and super fresh. This place is a gem. Go get some el rodeo.

The food was decent, don’t get me wrong. Only issue was i ordered the number 8, 1 taco 1 burrito and 1 enchilada. they all were drowning in the enchilada sauce, very bland, fortunately (barely saving grace) meat was cooked well. they gave me a tamale instead of a burrito! insane. i still ate it and had no complaints, coming from someone who lived half of their life in Arizona with authentic mexican food surrounding me, it was a good tamale. But you shouldn’t give someone a tamale when they did not order one. I also wasn’t a big fan of the fact that my taco was drowning in enchilada sauce. if you are willing to take the little extra distance, go to Lupe’s! they are better and the service is phenomenal! Odds are the owner himself will be waiting on you!

Not only was the customer service terrible. I asked for my meal with “Chicken on the Beach”
NO TOMATOES and the prepared the meal with tomatoes and I told them I DON’T eat tomatoes and he said yes I do it’s a vegetable but I don’t and won’t eat a dish with tomatoes and he refused to refund me pretending he didn’t understand ENGLISH but he did when I placed my order
