Food is amazing! Good portions! Friendly service and shout out to Tonya! She’s the best! If I could give 6 stars, I would’ve!

Food was great! Love the cabbage and green beans. Catfish was wonderful. Service a bit slow. We tried the coke but it was very carbonated. We had this issue on few previous visits so we get the sweet tea instead.

Decent place food was ok pulled pork and baked beans where the best. The brisket was dry and tough needs work. Service is seriously lacking. Wasn’t crowded as a customer I didn’t feel like I should be asking for a drink refill. Server walked by at least 5 times didn’t say anything. First time eating there probably won’t visit again. In my opinion not really worth it .

Horn of Plenty is my new favorite breakfast restaurant in west Knoxville. I didn’t know they started serving breakfast in January. The food, prices, atmosphere and service are all top notch.

We were looking for some good southern BBQ and this place exceeded our expectations. Sydnie was such a pleasure. The food reminded me of being a kid in my grandmother’s kitchen. If I had to describe my experience in one word it would be EXCEPTIONAL!!!

My first visit to HoP and it was a great lunch experience! Very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you step inside. You seat yourself but we were immediately greeted and had drinks within the minute of sitting down. The young lady waiting tables was fast, friendly and very attentive to all of her customers. Food was made fresh and brought out within 15 minutes of ordering. The serving sizes were very generous. We order the daily special of chicken fried chicken with two sides and a half slab of ribs with two sides with a maple pecan pie slice. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! Prices are very reasonable. We can’t wait to bring the entire family.

Awesome food and Jacqui is great. We were very impressed and will definitely be back soon. Loved that there was farm fresh eggs, signs and candles for sale as well. All the food (except fries and onion rings) are homemade items which is something my wife and I have been looking for.

A slept on place in Knoxville – absolute gem! I order here 2x a week (and probably 3 if they were open on weekends). It’s easy to find “good” catfish, hard to find great – here it is AMAZING, crispy and flavorful like my grandfather used to make. Truly a lost art. The other meats are good too. Okra is always a plus. I highly recommend you try it if you like southern-style food!
My only complaint is garlic bread only on Thursday. Would be my go-to if available all week long.

I havent been in since I was little and it was much different back then. The restaurant is clean and open. The food was delicious. This is definitely a place to come and be prepared to wait for food as it is prepared when ordered I think. (Which is fine by me) I will definitely be back, with my parents next time! Must try another dinner from the menu.

Laid back cabin style dining, home cooked food that’s well seasoned and tasty! We had the family meal, which you choose between 1 meat, we had ribs (2 slabs), 3 sides and choice of bread. Definitely hefty portions and good prices. We also ordered another entree of brisket which was too much food but equally delicious. The servers are super friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend if in the area.
