We loved this restaurant! The food was definitely homemade. The sausage gravy was superb, and I have a high bar for it being from Appalachia. My mom’s fries were THE BEST! Crispy on the outside and soft and tender inside. Mom said her burger was very good too. Eggs were done to specification. Service was excellent and the price can’t be beat.
The parking lot is cramped, and someone backed into my car. We will park on the side road shoulder next time.

Darn good homemade country breakfast. Sausage gravy was legit. Hash browns were hot and crispy. Bacon was excellent. Deeply smoked, much better than expected. I had the Big Breakfast with side of sausage gravy. $14.25 isn’t giving it away but a solid value. Will definitely go back.

Small local diner serves breakfast and lunch at 7 AM. Opens Tuesday through Sunday 7 AM to 2 PM. We walked in at 10:45 AM on a Saturday morning, the place was filled even the bar counters. The wait was short, no more than five minutes. The entire time when we were there, all tables were occupied and people didn’t have to wait for very long.
Food came very quickly and was decent. I ordered the Liver and Onion off their lunch menu, you don’t see this dish served at too many places. It came with two sides and a biscuit. The liver and onion tasted very good, but the liver was very gristly. The side of green beans was canned green beans, yuck. The side of French Fries was very good. My daughter had an order of Pancakes (x3) and two eggs. She wanted two Blueberry Pancakes and one plain, but she only received two Blueberry Pancakes when they brought her food, that was because our waitress wrote two Blue Pancakes on the ticket and forgot to mention about the third. I asked for mayonnaise and she forgot to bring it. She asked if I wanted more coffee, I said yes but I never got the refill. It was just one person, it doesn’t represent the service for the restaurant. Also they were super busy.
The price is very reasonable. If you just want a cup of jo, nice country breakfast, this will be your place. I would definitely going back. Five stars for the uniqueness of this restaurant.

An incredibly sweet local breakfast diner! Came here for a late solo breakout and sat at the bar. This is clearly a local favorite. There were lots of folks who were greeted by name. The food is really well priced and delicious and comes out fast! But more than that, the service was just so homey and friendly. It feels like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home kitchen, it’s a very cozy feeling. There’s not a ton of seating, but there’s enough. I saw families with young children, as well as folks just eating by themselves reading a newspaper. Everyone was just very comfortable and taken care of. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

Went here for brunch after church. It was SLAMMED but honestly whenever I drive by, it looks slammed. The interior is tiny. Cozy, but I did feel pretty confined. The wait staff was friendly- and the menu had a lot of good classic breakfast & lunch options!
My sister and I got the fish sandwich with baked apples. The sandwich was tasty, good crunch, and not greasy at all! The apples needed a pinch more cinnamon but other than that they were great! Will be back to try some breakfast food, but will probably do takeout instead of eating there.
