Wanted bbq later at night, found this place online and we thought “bbq in a bowling alley?” Maybe it’s because we are from Jersey that we were surprised but YES…bbq in a bowling alley! Everything we ordered was delicious and I must highlight that the mac and cheese was insane. In my top 3 of all time. Service is a bit slow and I can see how that may bother some, but we were in no hurry and enjoyed watching the karaoke that was going on. Would go back again when in the area and next time we’ll bowl too

Upon arrival we “waited to be seated” as per the sign as you walk in the door. We watched the bartender and servers look us in the eyes and even witnessed other individuals walk in and around the store and they weren’t even acknowledged. This was supposed to be a Valentine’s Day special that was posted on Facebook and they had plenty of open tables. Safe to say after waiting 20 mins to be seated and being looked at with not a single interaction we will not be coming back. we and the other individuals all walked out at the same time. Very dissatisfied.

Choose this place for dinner after reading the reviews as a staying nearby. Wasn’t sure what to expect after entering the bowling alley side but was very happy by the end of the night. Food was really good, service was attentive and quick, and atmosphere picked up a bit later with karaoke night.
I had the 2 meat platter with ribs and pulled chicken, baked beans and fries. Both meats were amazing with the ribs flavorful and falling off the bone. Chicken was pretty good too. There are 8 or 10 sauces to choose from or mix all you want. Hushpuppies were amazing as were the baked beans….I could eat an entire meal of those 2.

While the food was great, the service was outstanding! Kali was so fun and personable that I hated to leave! I will be back every time I come to Martinsville. She’s a keeper!

A decent BBQ place for the area where there weren’t many options. Their bar had some of the best bourbon options I’ve seen in a long time and I would highly recommend grabbing a drink for any bourbon enthusiasts close by.
