I was in town for a funeral and we got there early. So we decided to find a place to eat at. And we were not disappointed. The food was really good. The burgers were juicy and very tasty. The staff was very friendly as well. I would definitely come back to this burger place.

Maybe I’m used to faster service but I thought the service here was kind of slow. I know it takes time to cook a burger but I didn’t think they had to kill cow first. It was a pretty tasty burger and the fries were decent. What would have made the weight better was if they gave me my fries ahead of time. Honestly forget how much I paid for the burger and fries and drink. I know there are other places in town where you can get a monster sub, drink and chips for less.

This place was alright. But there were some frustrations and opportunities to improve. First there was only 1 register and the person in front of us seemed like they were ordering 1 of everything on the menu so when I say it took 10 min to order and we were second in line that is no exaggeration. We ordered 2 burgers and a fry because when you order a burger that’s all it comes with. We were very happy to see that all the burgers were cooked to order so we really appreciated the freshness, however, they use no seasoning on the burgers so they taste very bland. The same with the fries, not salted at all. What was nice though is they have malt vinegar to put on top so that was nice and there is salt at the tables to season as you like. I just prefer my meat to be seasoned at cooking as it makes the food more evenly seasoned.
The inside is very cute and I appreciated that the tables were clean, however, prices were high for what you get. The burgers are on the smaller side.

The burger was too greasy. The grease seeped through the outside of the sandwich wrap. The fries were too salty. The brownie milkshake was excellent.

Coming from Philly my fave burgers were nifty fifties…. But hands down way back has the best burgers my goodness. They’re always so nice to me and my son!

Customer Service was good. This was my first and only time at Wayback. I was excited about the menu. Ordered 2 burgers, regular fries, and a bacon cheese fry. Went to the soda fountain while I waited for my order. Coke was low on syrup. Iced tea was almost empty. I was able to full half my cup, then they took the container and never replaced it. The drink station was dirty. The bathroom toilet didn’t work and was also dirty. A team member brought my food out when it was done, which was nice. So the burgers were OKAY, nothing exciting. The loaded fries were not as advertised and very disappointing. Looks like they used one piece of bacon and broke it up over the cheese.

The location is not so glorious, but really nice and clean inside of the restaurant.
Fries are not salted, so I recommend you to get let up too!

I’ve been going to the one in Smyrna about 3x a week to get their Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake- it’s that GOOD! Everyone makes them pretty much the same- However the guy Shawn makes them exactly how you request it! I always ask (and pay) for extra Carmel & he never lets me down!! Thank you Shawn for the exceptional service & drinks/ food!!

I love Wayback and the Cheesy is my favorite but today I tried the Patty Melt. It was great also! I always get the Irish Nachos too. My wife chose the french fries with cheese and a Patty Melt. I hadn’t been to this Wayback because I normally go to the one in Dover, but this one is very clean and friendly so I will be back again.

Love the food !!! But the service is terrible I call many many times in a row with no answer You can’t do business if you don’t answer the phone !!!! Now I am taking my business to Main Street Narket because they answer the phone to take an order Management really need to figure out why their employees won’t answer phone !!!!!!!!!
