This was my first time stopping in after passing countless times on trips up and down York Road. I don’t know what took me so long to visit. I will be back!
I stopped in for a coffee and ended up ordering breakfast due to the irresistible smells. I ordered the breakfast bean burrito (a great substitute for meat during lent) and a coffee.
Great tasting coffee, and a burrito with a perfect blend of flavor and spice made for an amazing breakfast. There was a steady flow of customers and now I understand why.
If you haven’t been, be sure to stop by!

Hidden gem! Rustic location along a small creek with plenty of outdoor seating under the trees. A few tables inside as well. Wonderful coffee & pastries. We also enjoyed some of the food items – interesting blend of Mexican and coffee. Definitely worth a visit.

On our way home from our families and stumbled across this place. We love lattes and after reading the reviews decided to try this place. Small place but inexpensive drinks and they were fabulous. We usually stop in that area when traveling to get gas. We will be back.

Cute place!!! Was looking for a place to meet a friend while I was in the area and she suggested we meet here. I needed to eat but she already had. It was perfect! I got a coffee and a bagel breakfast sandwich and she just had coffee. Sat outback since it was a beautiful fall day. Glad I know here’s here now and I’m sure I’ll be back.

I’m always confused by why this place continues to get so much business. Every time I stop by, I’m reminded why I usually don’t, despite how conveniently located it is. This time I ordered a Mexican hot chocolate with a shot, and it tasted like warm milk with a faint whisper of cocoa. They may have even forgotten the shot, but honestly, I couldn’t tell.
I was close to returning it, which I normally wouldn’t hesitate to do, but I knew it wouldn’t be worth my time. To be clear, the staff is very nice. I’m sure they would have remade it, but given that it likely still wouldn’t be enjoyable, I didn’t bother.
They do have food, but it’s okay at best, and I’ve tried almost everything over the years. The breakfast burritos are probably my favorite, but even those are only marginally better than okay. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss Peet’s, which, for the record, is good, though not great.

Great food and pastries, and I was told that most of my Lunch Bean Burrito was Organic!
There is very limited seating inside, but there is nice outdoor seating right behind the shop. It’s right next to a little brook and plenty of trees and shade. A very peaceful setting.
The staff is also very pleasant and helpful.

I was told this coffee shop would be able to serve up a coffee just like I got back home in Australia , and they didn’t disappoint.
The service was great, and the way it was furnished was nostalgic.
Great coffee, and the food was just as good. All very well priced.
Highly recommended if you are in the area and need a coffee fix.

I visited this cute coffee shop more than 5 times while visiting Maryland for work, and the service and items ordered were consistently great time and time again. The coffee is delicious, the decor is unique and transports you to an older time, their pastries are soooo fresh, and they were even able to make a vegan breakfast burrito for me upon request which I ate outside under the shade of beautiful, mature trees, all while listening to the sound of birds singing and water running in a creek that runs behind the shop. I wish I could have brought this charming coffee shop back home with me!

This spot is busy and it’s for a good reason. The coffee and pastries are delicious. I recommend you check this spot out if you’re looking for good food and great coffee.
