The food was amazing. Every picture I saw from reviews before I went did it justice. The service was good, balanced as never having to ask for my water being refilled but a little slow on the check (though we were in no rush and never once felt rushed to leave, and we were reasonably attended to).
The atmosphere was bland, but I also wasn’t looking for an overwhelming experience either and it felt very comfortable. Tables were pretty close together and ambient conversation carried. Not a complaint, it was nice to not have to yell to have a conversation.
Overall, will definitely go back many times because the food really was just that good. And definitely affordable!!! Two very big meals (technically three!), with extras, sides, milkshakes, and drinks came to about $65. Normal meal here would be comfortably around $20-$25 per person at most.

Found this place just looking at google and reviews. The food was pretty good. We walked right in the place we empty for the most part with steady traffic flowing in and out. It’s definitely an old diner and has that feel but it really hit the spot. Recommend for some local small mom and pop breakfast. The kids loved the Mickey pancakes. The breakfast sandwich was fine and the cinnamon pancakes were delicious along with with the fruit loaded waffles as well. Bathrooms were clean!

Today’s Cookies Diner is a remarkable improvement over the Chuckwagon that was here a decade ago. Recent service has been, and is always, very friendly, helpful, prompt, and courteous. Coffee is perfect. Very much recommended.

Cinnabon Pancakes we’re absolutely amazing. We wanted to try the Apple pancake with ice cream however they were out of apples the waffle was still delicious. Our server made my daughter the most amazing chocolate milk. The place was clean staff was very friendly and the food was outstanding. The ability to have Baileys in my coffee with a small local place was a definite unexpected bonus!! We went late on a Saturday morning and got lucky it was slow when we got there by the time we left they were getting the lunch rush. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend

Place is a hidden gem! My wife and I visited on a Thursday for a late breakfast, it was our first time visiting, we had a great experience! The food was absolutely perfect, everything on my plate was cooked perfectly. Our server was Barbara V. and she was amazing. We visited 2 days later and she remembered us! Highly recommend Cookies Cafe for a great breakfast, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere!

The food was great!! Unfortunately our waitress seemed so miserable. I stopped going many many years ago due to her. After years I decided to give it another try with my cousins and guess what we got that waitress
I was hoping for a different experience but it was still the same. She offered coffee to all the tables around us never offered more to me. I noticed she tends to be kinder to the “older” crowd. Everyone else was very nice and kind that worked there but this one particular waitress just makes the experience of dining there awful if your not the “older aged” crowd. I’ll go other places in Hudson where you don’t feel like a nuicence of going they to enjoy a good breakfast

The Food was GREAT!! I loved the home fries! I’m hoping to go back sometime soon. I wasn’t able to finish my food cause my youngest son wanted to explore and not be inside anymore. I can’t believe I’ve driven past this place EVERY DAY to and from work and never noticed it!! Cute, cozy little hole-in-the-wall diner specializing in breakfast foods. Best pancakes I’ve ever had! I always have found myself needing to drown my pancakes in syrup, but that’s probably because I’ve never had a Cookie’s pancake. They’re not dry; they’re sweet, fluffy, and delicious. Servers are all super nice. My eggs benedict was also delicious. It’s going to be hard to pick what I should have the next time I’m back— and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! They need to get a bigger sign or more signage because they deserve lots of business. 🙂
