I have been wanting to try this spot being so close to my house. Tonight I finally did with my daughter and it did not disappoint. It seems they do more take out orders versus dining in, so the restaurant was quiet. Service is quick and the sushi was very good. Prices are also very fair compared to other sushi spots. We did crab rangoon appetizer, 4 sashimi and 3 rolls. All was impressive. If you haven’t been don’t sleep on this spot

Our new favorite local. Family friendly. Casual. Lots of variety from sushi to Bento to noodles. I had a tuna flight last time. Superfresh & tasty. Sorry I was excited and forgot to take a photo.

This is my daughter and I’s go to when we crave sushi! She refuses to try anywhere else & honestly I don’t blame her one bit! From the service, to the atmosphere ( very friendly service there every time we go! ) & the FOOD IS DELICIOUS! We ordered Miso Soup SO GOOD & it’s her FAVORITE! Crab Rangoon, Fried rice, & the Boston Bay roll for photo reference

I get delivery majority of the time but I have had a dine in experience before when it was less busy. I love the cucumber rolls, salad and edamame a lot. The experience was wonderful when I dined in and even with delivery it’s always a good experience.

The sushi was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We had the Parkville Dragon, the Spider Roll (which was uniquely amazing with cream cheese!), and the classic Dragon Roll. Every bite was delicious. The service was great. We will definitely be going back!

I’ve been on a search for consistently good sushi in the northland and this is easily the best place I’ve been! Great prices, the specialty rolls come with 8-12 pieces and great service. My husband got the steak teriyaki and it was very tender and delicious. This will be the spot we keep coming back to for sure!

We love this place. Staff is very friendly, the fish is chilled and processed just right. The chef is very creative. We told him what we liked and he made custom plates for us.

We will come here again

And they have Gluten Free options

Came here today because we have been wanting to try this spot for a while. After trying endless sushi spots in the Missouri/Kansas area, I think we will be making this our “go-to” spot. The food was amazing and customer service was decent. The wasabi here is slightly different than most places and was delicious you get little candies too when you leave. Loved it here

When I get a hankering I simply will not be denied. Recently I got a sushi craving. But my usual joint was closed. So I decided to try someplace new.
Sushi was really good. Though I didn’t care for the Kani (imitation crab meat/sea sticks) they use. Dunno, just didn’t care for the flavor. Different than what I’m used to is all.
Also the gyoza wasn’t fried as crisp as I prefer.
There’s no teppanyaki here, but they do prepare hot dishes like terriyaki, etc.
Service was good. No complaints there.
My gold standard for Japanese restaurants is always whether they offer natto. I learned to love natto on rice or in a makimono roll from my former mother in law. If a joint has natto, you know it has to be legit. Sadly, none found in KC Metro so far. If you know a place please let me know so I can visit.
Another observation, they don’t provide the wooden disposable chopsticks here. They’re regular plastic ones. Which at first I thought was a nice touch. But turned out they were slippery when eating the sushi.
