EDIT: my review was for a cafe and NOT THIS restaurant. I don’t know how, but my original review below somehow ended up in this restaurant’s google map address – I did not do this. I need to figure out how my review got moved from a cafe that closwd out of business to this place here. My original review of the CAFE is below:
So sad to find out this placed closed. Haven’t been to this place in a while so thought to pop on google and check out the hours. I’ve been going to this place every couple months with my wife since we moved down to the Orlando area 2 years ago. My first time trying arepas was in Miami. Since then, I’ve tried several other places and this little gem had the most chill and genuine vibe with the most delicious and beautifully prepared arepas dishes I’ve ever seen. The ingredient quality was high, the price was low, and the staff always treated us nice — even though Spanish isn’t our native language — always felt welcomed there. What made this place shine on top of those other qualities mentioned was that they had two styles: Colombian and Venezuelan arepas — and depending on which style you ordered — it was very distinct and all VERY good. Why is it when I find a place I really like it closes down?? I saw the most recent reviews about the service going downhill and that’s a shame — seems like something internal happened. My experience was nothing like that, though. I’m really heartbroken this place closed and hope whoever was making those amazing dishes will someday resurface back onto the food scene.

I go there with my girlfriend almost every weekend the food is served fast and it’s very good live music outside good dance music inside nobody bothers you. I got to say it’s probably the coolest place to hang out in Orlando you would have to go to Kissimmee to enjoy a place like this

Awesome music and vibes. Hardly any English is ever spoken. I haven’t eaten anything there, but the food looks amazing with big portions. Very friendly staff that will check outside (the patio/deck) regularly. Good service. Many regulars go here.

Pretty good food. Empinadas are big and stuffed with meat. Ordered two but could only finish one. Everyone is friendly and will strike up a conversation if you’re open to it.
Great place for a night out with the boys, but you can take your woman also. Always women there by themselves, if that’s what you’re looking for.
Beer is very cold and inexpensive. Bartenders are attentive and even come out on the patio often to take your orders and clean and clear tables. Very chill place with a doorman that checks EVERYONE before entering.
Try it out. Oh, also some nights they have different bands on different nights and they play on the patio where you can also smoke. Cigar friendly as well.

Best Mofongo in town right now. Prices on menu do not match prices charged on bill. When mentioned to waitress she said that was the way it was!!! Owner, Edmundo very attentive and friendly.

Ordered tostones and chicken and the meal was quite average. Ordered as dinner so I’m not sure if that made a difference as far as the quality. Items were under-seasoned. Was just expecting more from this establishment. NO sides included with the main entree.
