I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to spots in National City. The food has been consistently good every visit — flavorful, well-portioned, and served fresh. You can tell they take pride in what comes out of the kitchen.
The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, whether you’re stopping in to catch a game, grab dinner with friends, listening and dancing to the live music or just unwind after a long day. The staff has always been friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better.
It’s the kind of neighborhood bar and grill that feels comfortable and reliable — good food, good vibes, and a spot you’ll want to come back to. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Went here for my birthday brunch. Ordered the Kimball breakfast board for 2, Chilaquiles, American breakfast. Everything was SO delicious. The waiter was so attentive and the atmosphere was chill!!! Will definitely come back!!!

We loved it. Our first time visiting this restaurant. We saw so many things we wanted to try on the menu and focused on 3 things today. The Irish nachos, which were so decadent. They are in all actuality waffle fries as stated on the menu, covered with delicious chili, nacho cheese and perfect Jalapeño peppers. This came out briefly prior to our main dishes. We enjoyed the smash sesh burger very much. The burger meat qirh Jalapeño poppers are a fantastic mix. Lastly we got the breaded chicken tenders and substituted the fries for a Ceasars salad for our side. Soooo glad we did since rhe dressing on it was to die for. It’s a mustard based ceaser dressing that wear perfectly with the chicken strips. Servers were so sweet. We had interaction from when we entered and a few times while we are. They were quick to refill our drinks keeping us nice and hydrated this hot day. We were luck to meet with the managers of the establishment and had a couple friendly conversations that led us to want to come back soon and bring friends and family with us. Looking forward to coming back and trying thier ribs and the breakfast charcuterie board. Yum.

Looked like a great place but service was slow and food disappointing/pricey. Our steak and eggs had more than acceptable gristel. No action taken when alerted about the food issues. Some confusion and misrepresentation on the menu items and the establishment next door that they provide food for also.

Very cute rustic place with an A* breakfast and other meal options.
Service is good.
While there order for the kimball breakfast,it is very filling and may last you the whole day.
Hubby had some cocktails too and highly recommends.

*Edit. This place has the best breakfast board you can find!! It just keeps getting better!! This breakfast board includes all the favs! And a new waiter Andrew who was so attentive and professional!! He really made the experience great!! Great food great staff!!! Beautiful environment!
We frequent this place often and usually request Jay or Tanya Those 2 have excellent service the kind you don’t find anymore! They were not available so This time we had Andrew who referred to himself as Jay’s protege. He is new but is doing a good job. The menu offered a new item The breakfast board! It was like $37 for 2 people and offered all the breakfast greats! You get pancakes, french toast, chicken and waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon!!! I swear for the portions and variety you can’t beat that anywhere!!! And it was so good!!! The only problem we had was our table had not been wiped down and the place wasn’t as clean as it usually is. We went on father’s day morning and sat outside. I’m assuming it was still dirty from the night before. We were a huge group and they were happy to accommodate us right away. It’s the second time we go with a group of 12 without reservations and they have been very accommodating. I was really happy with our experience!

Great restaurant, pleasant atmosphere indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff, everyone comes across very genuine. Large outdoor space and the indoor dining wasn’t cramped at all. The food is delicious and beautiful presentation. The bartender even offered up a sample taste of a special NYE drink for tomorrow night. We ordered a variety of food and everything was superb. Something about the cornbread ,it was so good, I had to get an order to go. This restaurants is such a hidden gem!
