The husband had the sandwich, and it had nice soft bread and lots of yummy filling. I ordered the mac with pork belly. Huge portion for the price. Good comfort food, but cheese sauce was a little watery, and I would have liked the pork belly cut into bite-sized pieces because it was hard to eat in slabs.

A good BBQ truck that serves various meats in a few different ways. Brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, BBQ chicken and barrel pork served on sandwiches, taco or just in the box. The prices seem sky high because the way menu is layed out, it’s easy to miss that all entrees come with a side of either Mac & cheese, beans or cabbage slaw. Taking that into consideration the prices are ok. They give you a pager when you order to let you know when yours is ready. I ordered the Urban Cowboy sandwich which has brisket, sauteed sweet onions, peppadews, provolone, horseradish aioli and sweet Carolina gold sauce. I chose the Mac for my side. The sandwich was good but I wish it didn’t have the bit of sweet sauce. My son ordered brisket with Mac. My sandwich was $18. His was $12 yet had more brisket and Mac. My fiance and I had the Kim jong sandwich on 2/23/25 and it was AMAZING!! I seriously keep thinking about it that’s how good it was! I only took a few bites as I was full from an order I placed at another cart but we will absolutely be back for this and bringing friends! I do not understand how this place doesn’t have a solid 5 stars! We were skeptical based on other reviews but the service was great and food was amazing! My fiance even went back to tell the person working how great this was! Can’t wait to eat my way through their menu! I HIGHLY reccomend!

My husband is from the south and very picky on his bbq and sandwiches. He decided to give it a try and he was blown away. He got the chopped brisket sandwich (special) and the Carolina chicken and it was a 10/10. We highly recommend!

We had the Kim Jong sandwich and coleslaw. It was amazing! The chicken was phenomenal. The pickled vegetables were such a good addition to this sandwich. The coleslaw was also great. Very fresh and great quality.

The brisket looked like it had been cut hours ago and had no smoke ring.
I have eaten lots of good brisket in my life.

The menu seemed a little strange, they have sandwich named after a horrible dictator and call their sauce “Q” sauce…
The truck yard is fine seems like someone sterilized a fun idea…
Photo is of leftovers but you can see it has no smoke ring and is all grey (Probably from sitting in a warmer).

Food was great, good service. The Ron Burgundy was delicious and so was the chili and potato salad, my wife really likes the lunch plate special, we really liked the flavor and will definitely be going back.

This place is a must-visit. It’s quickly become one of my go-to trucks at Oak Tree, and I’ve been there 7 times so I feel like I’ve got enough data to offer an informed opinion. The portions on the sandwiches are huge, perfect to split with a few sides. The BBQ is not over salted or over sauced, which is the regular miss for BBQ in this area – in fact, there’s no ‘food coma’ reaction and the meals are surprisingly light.
Do yourself a favor and put it on your list, you won’t be disappointed. The Carolina gold sauce is on-par with Matt’s bbq (and that’s a high bar). I read the negative reviews and they are all dated, I haven’t had anything but a delicious meal here and they don’t disappoint.

This food truck is SO yummy! I had the cider barrel grilled cheese sandwich with a side of potato salad. A Crispy, melt in your mouth sandwich that is now my absolute favorite, filled with pulled pork, 4 different cheeses, BBQ sauce, horseradish mayo and pickled veggies. And the potato salad was also delicious. People who know me know I’m a snob when it comes to potato salad, so when I love it so much I go back for some more, you know it’s good! Thanks Banh Reade, I’ll be back!
