Passing through town on a Sunday and most restaurants were closed. Amore was open and the positive reviews were spot on. Authentic and delicious food. Had the Veal with Italian Sausage Scaparelli and it was fabulous. My wife had the Veal Parmesan, also very good. Thanks for the great dinner!!

Easy to find using Apple Maps (preference). Parking lot is gravel and the entrance to parking is a little inclined if you have a low clearance sports car, however, there are adjacent closed businesses across the street that are accessible. We had the choice of inside or outside seating. We chose outside and the server arrived within minutes and answered questions and made suggestions for portion sizes and favorites. The server was friendly and know. We split a house salad and ordered the shrimp tortellini with chicken substituted and the ravioli. Fresh hot bread was served prior to and with the house salad. The food was delicious and served hot within minutes of ordering. We will definitely return as we travel through this area several times a year.

Great spot for anything Italian. Family and I had a lovely time here. Truly unique restaurant. Our waitress was helpful and super kind. I just wish we had room for dessert. We will definitely pass by again when in the area.

This classic Italian Ristorante has a nice variety of traditional dishes. It’s in an old mansion, which gives it a home cooked feeling. My shrimp Alfredo was excellent. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Food came out quickly. Big portions!!

Nice front porch sitting. Excellent service. Great bar scene…there’s nothing not to love about Amore.
The dining experience starts with unique drink options and fresh baked bread/rolls with butter and Parmesan on the bread and butter or oil & vinegar accompaniment.
The Italian Margarita is surprisingly good. Sufficient wine list with a little variety for all. 1/2 off bottles on Wine Wednesday!
The Italian house salad is fresh and cold. Lettuce, cheese olives and red onion.
The mussels were good with a spicy, tomato broth. Perfect for dipping your bread in!
Tonight we had the veal Marsala and Veal Parmesan. The Marsala was tender, cooked perfectly with mushrooms and spaghetti pasta. The Marsala sauce was tangy and good.
The veal Parmesan was lightly breaded, crispy edges and tasty. Would order both dishes again.
The pasta and marinara was good. They know how to cook Italian dishes in this kitchen.
The tiramisu was excellent. Good balance of lady finger, mascarpone, espresso and cocoa, drizzled in chocolate. It’s worth the calories.

My husband and I shared the Tour of Italy and it was really good. The only reason I gave the food four stars is because the lasagna was lacking some garlic or maybe garlic salt. I couldn’t quite the my finger on it. The bread they bring to the table is delicious. The Victorian home is charming and the wait staff was excellent. The only other thing that I found strange was that they charge you a five-dollar upcharge for sharing a dish. I’ve never heard of that.

Well, y’all I’m from New Orleans visiting a friend. My grandparents were from Corleone Sicily so I grew up on Italian food. I have 2 friends that own Italian restaurants in New Orleans which are outstanding.We went for lunch and found a gem. The house is amazing, the service was amazing. Our waiter, Alex was awesome. The food was absolutely delicious. I got veal piccata, my friend got a pizza . Both meals were amazing and that’s not saying anything about the bread which was great. I promise next time I come to visit the first place we go will be this restaurant. Sometimes it’s hard to get Italian right but they nailed it. Definitely a go back to restaurant. We stopped by as we were passing through. Excellent decision. We were there at an off time, 2:00pm so it wasn’t busy. We enjoyed the historic atmosphere with the old wood floors. We ordered shrimp Alfredo from the lunch menu which was very good. The warm bread they bring you was delicious. Our server, Lona, was very nice, bubbly and attentive. We will definitely stop by again. We love finding local places when traveling.

A delightful dining experience. The meatballs were moist and very tender in a tangy sauce. The shrimp Alfredo and chicken Alfredo were quite tasty. The veal parm was tender and had great flavor as did the veal marsala. Our server Priscilla was very nice and checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a great place to eat!
