Fantastic Bangladeshi flavors! Delicious food, warm hospitality, and authentic dishes that truly hit the spot. Don’t miss the Breakfast combo with cha. Also, they have the best “Doi Fuchka”.
A must-visit for anyone craving real Bangladeshi taste in LA!

Dining at this Bangladeshi restaurant was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt immersed in the warm and vibrant spirit of Bangladesh. The cozy décor, traditional touches, and inviting atmosphere created the perfect setting for an authentic culinary experience.
The food was truly exceptional. Every dish was rich, aromatic, and full of the classic Bangladeshi flavors that make the cuisine so special. The biryani was fragrant and perfectly spiced, the bhuna dishes were tender, fish and vegetable dishes were deeply flavorful, and the freshly made naan and paratha were soft and delicious. I was especially impressed by how well-balanced the spices were—bold, but never overwhelming. You can really taste the care and authenticity in every bite.
The service was outstanding as well. The staff including the owner was warm, attentive, and happy to explain the dishes or offer recommendations, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this restaurant delivers a truly memorable taste of Bangladesh. Whether you’re craving comforting home-style dishes or exploring Bangladeshi cuisine for the first time in Koreatown, Little Bangladesh, this place is an absolute must-visit.

I recently ordered catering from Kasturi and I really want to appreciate Mukul bhai (manager) and Bhabi, the owner’s wife and main chef. From start to finish, Mukul bhai was kind, patient, and very professional, and Bhabi’s cooking honestly felt like proper home-style food .
The tea with sugar cane was amazing, the chotpoti was one of the best I’ve had, and the gorom gorom singara were perfectly crispy and fresh. The tehari was flavorful, the chicken roast was tender, the beef curry was my absolute favorite, the shami kabab were top-notch, and even the Thai vegetables were delicious.
Kasturi made our event feel special, and I truly appreciate the hard work of both Mukul bhai and Bhabi. I’ll definitely order from them again and recommend them to others.

Kasturi is a wonderful family-owned gem in the heart of LA’s Little Bangladesh, serving delicious, authentic South Asian food with warm, friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The dishes are full of rich flavor and prepared with care, and the attached market is a huge bonus — offering great South Asian groceries, spices, and all the essentials you can’t easily find elsewhere. Whether you’re stopping in for a hearty meal or picking up specialty ingredients, Kasturi is a true community favorite and a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

I ordered chicken biryani along with a bottle of water, but the water was missing from my order. In addition, the food I received did not resemble biryani at all—it looked like plain pulaw rice with a few small pieces of chicken from curry. If the biryani was unavailable, the restaurant should have contacted me before sending a substitute, but no such communication was made, which reflects poor customer service. Furthermore, the chicken tasted very old, as if it had been cooked and stored for a long time, and because of the poor quality I had to throw the entire meal away. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and the restaurant should improve both its food quality and customer service.

3/9/24: The beef kala buna and tehari were very good. Samosa (with chicken and egg) and round kabob were ok. Price is high compared to other Bangla places in the neighborhood. Nice owners though.

Love the variety of Bangladeshi cuisine and Iftar they offer. The chicken biryani, tehari and goat curry are some of my favorites. Also pretty generous when you ask them for takeout. I always make few stops there when I am in LA and carry the foods w me all the way to Bay Area. I wish you guys open a branch around SF some day.
