Driving across the country, we always look for places like this. This was one of the best! The cutest little restaurant in a small town, the waitress couldn’t have been nicer, and the food was AMAZING. Three different burgers (must try the peanut butter one), we’re all 10/10. ❤️

Lovely place with great food & superb service! My family all got different burgers and they were all excellent! The menu had good selections for everyone in your crew at reasonable prices. They did a great job accommodating our food allergy, although they didn’t seem to know all of the cross contamination so we skipped everything fried (the safe bet); depending you may have a challenge. The place was clean & well maintained. The bathroom was clean & nicely maintained as well. The service was excellent; she checked on us several times and we always had full drinks. If you’re in a hurry, you will have to wait a bit because they are fresh cooked meals (yum!)! We thought the burgers were well made & had a lot of flavor. Parking is on the street, but was easy to find a spot. Floors are flat and plenty of space making it wheelchair accessible. Highly recommend!!

Traveling from Virginia to Vancouver, Canada, on a Harley, we’ve eaten in many local restaurants. Coachlight Cafe ranks in the top 10. Many locals were having a leasurely lunch and everyone knew everyone…except for us city folks.
The menu is surprisingly eclectic for this neck of the woods. Peanut Bacon Badger Burger, Coachlight Special Burger (cream cheese, jalapeno jelly and bacon!) to name a couple. I had the Badger on Fire….burger with jalapenos and pepper jack and a spicy sauce. To top it all off, a slice of Cream Cheese and Raisin Pie. OMG! Delish!!

Great food. Loved the Coachlight Special burger. The jalapeño jam in the burger was great. A little bit slow service but the gent who ended up getting our order was polite and very helpful. He made sure we were being taken care of. We had burgers, fries, salad, and beer. All great tasting and will come back again.

Went to this place because I saw it was highly rated. It DID NOT disappoint! This place is excellent. Definitely would recommend going here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was quick, and the food WAS DELICIOUS.
This was my first time here but they helped me with the menu. I had the Badger Burger deluxe. It was pretty good. It has a half pound patty and comes with lettuce and tomato.
The atmosphere was great. The theme of the place was nice. I also thought it was great because I didn’t get cold while I was there. Some restaurants make it unbearably cold to try to get people out, but this place didn’t.
Overall, a great experience. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Valentine. If you are in Valentine, check this place out.

We tried three different burgers (Western, Coachlight and Peanut Butter Badger) and they were all tasty. The PB Badger was a big burger. The service was the standout. Our server was very attentive and she gave great food recommendations. The restaurant is outdated but nothing out of the ordinary for a small town place. Could use a makeover.
