We had dinner once before, and food was cooked and made to perfection. This time around, we stopped by to have dinner once again. Our food was not fresh. My chimichanga was soggy, and my wife’s enchiladas were made of the same chicken for tacos and burritos. To top it off, the food was warm. Food must be hot and served right off the grill. We understand that it’s very difficult to keep a large stock a veriatiy of chicken for different dishes. If it can’t be done, let the customer know that it is not possible so they can order a different dish. The food that was fried had a taste of bad oil from the fryer. This time, the owner was not there. Like the first time. As much as I hate to give a review like this one, it is a must to keep food quality at its best. We will give them one more chance in the near future. Hopefully, they will correct some of the issues they have so I can review my post. Ever business needs a second chance. Remember El Jefe, the bad experience customers have reflect your business to survive. I will stop by again because we love to support all small businesses. By the way, it is next to Pedal Pops, and the tables and games are a pleasant place to relax.

First time was pretty good—enough to go back. 2nd time, birria tacos. Guess wasn’t paying attention to no rice and beans, that’s on me, but, see pic, this is what I paid $12.35 for…really?

Foods really great, location has some parking with convenient tables and proximity to the pedal pop shop for sweets. Would recommend the quesabirria, tacos Al pastor, and the sopapilla as my favorite things. Definitely try it!

so good!! moved to town for college from a small very hispanic town so i’m very picky with mexican food! a few places around here have disappointed with the quesabirria tacos but these were good! juicy & a lot of flavor wish the order came with 4 instead of 3

Amazing food. Street tacos were so juicy, I don’t think I’ve ever had them so good!!! Husband said California burrito was amazing. Kids devoured the chicken quesadilla. And the chips & queso were hot, crispy and cheesy

I tried one taco and burrito both steak. Taco was ok, could’ve used more cilantro and meat especially for $2.95. Burrito needs more flavor in the refried beans and probably hold the lettuce, soggy lettuce is a no.

Horrible customer service. I’m respectful of everyone, but I ordered 4 tacos with meat and cheese only, and they asked me several times to repeat myself, to which I did. I get there, they made the order wrong, when I asked them if they could make it correctly, they said “it’s already made.”

I had been here once before when they first came to this location. I wasn’t sure I’d be back, but I decided to give them another try. The tacos were more flavorful this time, so I may be back again. I still think they could fill the tortillas with a bit more meat for a fuller taco. They have good horchata, also. I like the area that has tables to eat at and also great ice cream and beer at Pedal Pops.

Good tacos in the area. I would prefer a double tortilla for the soft tacos. The filling and the salsa was good too.
