The staff are amazingly friendly, and the environment is really pretty. Reading the menu honestly feels like reading a Vogue for food. The food is authentic with large portions, which I always appreciate. I’ve been to so many Thai places, and this is probably one of the top spots around the DMV. It’s the kind of place I’d choose to hang out with friends or bring family for celebrations. What more can you ask for!

The food had good flavor, but the portion sizes were disappointing. We ordered two Crying Tiger dishes and expected a more filling portion, especially at $18 each. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough, and we were still hungry afterward. For that price, we definitely expected something more satisfying.

My first time there since I live close by. I brought pad see ew and a curry dish. The portion is above average and food taste great. The menu is more like Thai fusion versus traditional Thai dishes. Will go back there.

My Home Thai Bistro, on the ground floor of Modera Falls Church, is a recently opened, stylish venue offering authentic Thai cuisine, trendy, Instagram-worthy decor, durable, high-quality furnishings, and excellent service. Its extensive menu includes a wide selection of cocktails and sparkling beverages, as well as traditional Thai dishes such as soups, salads, curries, noodles, and more, along with tasty specialty desserts, all in a pristine, cozy setting.

The dishes we tried were very good, and we recommend:
– Their Som Tum (papaya salad), freshly made with julienned green papaya, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and other ingredients well mixed with spicy-sweet lime dressing, topped with crispy catfish. Tasty, crunchy, and fried catfish add texture to this well-balanced salad.

– Khanom Jeab, Thai dumplings made with minced shrimp, pork, and carrot, served with sweet soy sauce. Authentic and flavorful.

– Rad Na Ruffy (Thai gravy noodles), wide rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, and seafood wok-fried in savory, sweet soy gravy. The seafood was fresh, and the portion was generous.

– Bad Boy Belly, crispy pork belly, and fried egg with spicy chili sauce — just delicious.

– Crab fried rice, featuring fresh crab meat generously topped over wok-fried rice, creates a tasty dish.

Tried this new restaurant based on some good reviews. Unfortunately was a little disappointing relative to other Thai restaurants in the area. Decor was upmarket (and very pink!) but food and service were average for the prices. It’s okay for a causal or lunch spot, but many better Thai restaurants in the area. They are new so i am sure will improve. Also streamline menu books and ensure you don’t show items you don’t have (e.g. shaved ice cream).

Finally, you will need to park under the building and pay for parking ($2 to $4), annoying and garage has terrible wi-fi.
