Everything I’ve ordered here has been good. We often order wings for work food-days from Sharkey’s. It’s convenient and tasty. I especially enjoy the jumbo shrimp, gyros, and lemon pepper wings. The staff has always been nice. Sometimes there’s a long wait, so try to order ahead. Lunch time parking can be tricky, because of other strip mall businesses.

Our favorite thing to eat is a good philly cheese steak sandwich- we have had many of them over the years, and we are fairly picky about them. We have been waiting for a restaurant to open up in Blono for several years now that makes them the way we like them ever since the previous restaurant that made our favorites closed. We saw Sharkey’s just opened- never had them before neither here nor their Peoria location, so we decided to give them a try. Verdict: their philly’s are EXCELLENT. The best we have had in Blono in a LONG time, and you can’t beat the price (especially in comparison to other establishments in town who charge nearly double the price for theirs that are chewy, dry, and flavorless). In addition to that- their fries are great and their fried walleye is also the best we’ve had around here in a long time as well. Definitely reccommend you give them a try. My significant other and I will definitely be ordering here often.
We ordered ours through DoorDash so cannot speak on the restaurant atmosphere or the in-person service. I will say that I see a lot of early reviews complaining about wait time- and to that I say 1. They literally just opened, show them some grace as they get in the groove of things here and 2. Even if the wait time is longer, it is worth it for food that is cooked fresh and served hot. I’d rather have that than quick service of food that was cooked an hour prior and kept warm under a heat lamp. Definitely reccommend you give them a try.

Customer service is basically non existent.
When calling to place a pick up order, I’ve been hung up on more times than I’ve actually eaten here. When you go in person there’s a line out the door and a dining room full of hungry people waiting for their food for 30+ minutes. The building doesn’t look particularly clean, well put together or inviting, but what they genuinely do have?
Is good food.
One of the biggest portion sizes I’ve ever seen in this town at somewhat reasonable prices. The flavor is so good that even the leftovers at work the next day is something to look forward to!
Sharkeys leaves alot to be desired, and unless they get a real, reliable phone system and someone proficient at customer service to answer it? I doubt people are going to like driving across town to pick up orders that were never placed (delicious or not) for very long.

I ordered a variety of items that included catfish, fries, shrimp, burger, chicken, and Italian beef. I think they have something going with the chicken it was very good, I did ask for extra lemon pepper which I could tell they didn’t even really add a little but no big deal. The chicken was cooked well, nice, crispy, and juicy. The fish was alright nothing I would purchase again, my biggest complaint about the catfish was that it didn’t look or taste like catfish, it tastes like another type of fish but not catfish. The shrimp was ok, we did not like the Italian beef it lacked flavor. If I go back I will stick with the chicken it was really delicious everything else was honestly alright to me. They have pretty affordable prices.

I’ve tried a few items on the menu. By far my favorite is the Gyro rice bowl. They give you an abundance of food for the price and it’s flavorful and the produce taste fresh. I gave it four stars because they could do better with the mild sauce especially since their restaurant in Peoria has it down.

Let me start off by saying that the food was amazing and cooked fresh. I saw the restaurant on Facebook and I had to give it a try. I’m from Chicago and I’ve lived in Bloomington for a few years and I was looking for something like this for years lol. But I ordered a Philly steak, some wings, catfish, and Mozzarella sticks. Everything was cooked fresh. Now is it a wait time? Absolutely and I wait for like 10-15 minutes which is fine because I like my food hot and fresh. The food is very affordable and customer service was friendly. Would I come back here? Most definitely. Definitely one of my favorite place to go in town.

Good grief don’t bother!!!!! We placed two orders for pickup on THEIR site and went to pick them up only to find out they cancelled both orders an we got no notification. I don’t care if you are busy or not, that is crappy service. Wouldn’t recommend and will NEVER go there again. It’s crazy that companies think they can keep customers with horrible service. Nope! There’s a lot of great places to it and they aren’t one of them.

Expensive for the quality food, but has big portions. The guy that took our order barely spoke and looked miserable. Also takes a while so if you are in a hurry it’s not “fast food” Tartar sauce was a little too sour. They keep the ranch under the counter, not refrigerated and it didn’t taste very good. Wanted to like the place but was pretty disappointed

The food was delicious long wait time but worth it Customer Service person at the restroom made a lot of mistakes, but I’m giving them grace since they’re newly opening and getting a rhythm of things overall once they do that, I think it’ll be hands-down one of the best hood food spots. We have here in town and for a very reasonable price unlike JJ’s or Baba’s.
