We are familiar with Mankato area restaurants & chose this one to celebrate our 5 yr wedding anniversary. They did not disappoint! We ordered the Reuben Wonton Rolls – so crispy & delicious! The seafood chowder had great flavor & variety. The sesame encrusted Tuna was phenomenal! And my husband had the lamb loin on a bed of asparagus. We are hooked & will be coming back soon to try the menu items we wanted but didn’t order. Thank you for making us a memorable & scrumptious meal! See you again soon!

A sign outside said the restaurant was open while construction was underway, but we saw no disarray inside. Maybe the work was going on in another room.
We visited here mostly because their online menu, and their menu inside, said they serve Kilkenny, one of my husband’s favorite beers and one that is rare to find. Unfortunately, we were informed right away that they no longer serve it, either, as the distributor was struggling to get it. Alas.
That is the only complaint we have, though. Service was great, busy as the place was on a Saturday at lunchtime. I had a Magner’s cider while my husband made do with Schells Octoberfest. The cheese curds were absolute artwork, some of the best we’ve had in ages. I had the beet and goat cheese salad. It was huge with very fresh ingredients, quite filling without an added protein. My husband had a burger and fries and really enjoyed them.

We went there in a weekday night. They were surprisingly busy. The staffs were short and overwhelmed. After a long wait, we finally got served and a lot of apologies. Totally understand they didn’t expect to be that busy. The most disappointing thing is food. Scottish eggs were so dried. The steak was tiny and undercooked than what I asked. The fish and chips was just ok. Nothing was really impressed me enough to come back. Sorry!

Excellent place to grab a bite. We had a party of 4. Everyone tried a different option from the traditional fare section of the menu. All 4 meals were great.
I personally had the corned beef and cabbage. This was very good. I was expecting the corned beef to have a bit more punch – but maybe this version is more accurate. The carrots were really good.
The waiter was pleasant and on top of everything.
I imagine the restaurant follows traditional UK design. There are lots of tables and they are pretty close to each other. I didn’t feel to stacked in, but on the right night the crowd could really pack in.

First time visit on a Saturday night. Great Irish atmosphere, cozy and comfortable. The server was very nice but didn’t revisit very often. Took over 45 minutes to get our food after being seated. Even though it took a while the food and drinks were excellent. If you’re in a hurry, this might not be for you. As for me, I enjoyed it, and I will be back!

Another great addition to Mankato. I was pleasantly surprised how much they upgraded the interior look/ atmosphere of the building. We got quick and very friendly service. All of our food was good, and the prices / portion sizes were fair. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ve already been telling friends and family about our experience.
